TOPIC: Peyronie's Disease... My experience
Re: Peyronie's Disease... My experience
14 years 7 months ago #1271464253I'm 19 days post op today... Dr. Eydios's surgery for my condition requires a very strict regimen of recovery... IE - antibiotics, stretching, careful daily wrapping, etc... Today the swelling seems finally to be subsiding significantly & I'm finally about ready to cease daily wrapping (which is not easy as it seems you need 3 hands & unfortunately I dont have a "female helper" right now)... I'm 50 now, so recovering from anything takes a bit longer... The swelling has been "coming & going" depending on how much stretching / erections I'm having... Dr has me on every other day, low dose Cialis to keep blood constantly flowing well into the site of surgery (my penis!!!) I still have some minor bleeding at site of incision (Circumcision line of de-gloving) & that area (where the stitches are) is itchy & seems "restricted" in its ability to fully expand during an Erection... I've been consulting with Dr Egydio (who is obviously very remote from me) via cell & we are going to do 2 or 3 Skype one way video calls starting this week... He is so busy doing surgeries he is hard to track down but is making himself available...
Overall, I'm happy with the results & having a much straighter penis... the surgery (for me) was pretty intense... I stayed 2 weeks in Brazil which was great... I'm jumping around a bit in this post.. just wanted to get something up... So, overall am very satisfied & am absolutely certain Dr. Egydio is the best in the world.... & he charges like it... Despite English being his second language, He is a fantastic communicator & has (what I believe to be) the absolute highest degree of integrity in his work... I honestly believe that if Dr. E did NOT think the surgery was right for me, he would not do it... No way... The Surgery was very expensive (for me)... I used savings money & am glad I did the surgery... I did not (or at least not yet) achieve my early 20's length - size - shape.... & while I did re-gain significant length back, (because he put in the graft & corrected an old injury), I wish there were some way to regain that last Inch or so... It seems my Erection, while straight now, does not have the same "angle - natural curvature" that it did in my youth (pre injury)... Also -- the "last Inch or so" -- really that last distal point of Erection near the glans -- just doesnt seem to be able to "extend out" as it did prior to my injury... I was hopeful --- & still am that I may regain this --- but if I dont its Ok as I did regain length & my penis looks & feels so much better....!!
Alas, it probably has allot to do with plain old aging as well a pretty severe injury suffered in 2003 during female superior intercourse.. THANKS again to M7...
I know he's been not only supportive to me but many others... What a great person he is & I sincerely hope everything works out well in his life & for everyone else... This site is wonderfully supportive on many different topics... with the primary focus obviously PMMA... I continue wishing all ya'll fantastic results in whatever areas of improvement you pursue... S.O. & I'm sure many others work very hard to keep this site working great.... & the Holiday look of the site is GREAT..!! I'm still considering PMMA... Hanging on the fence for now.. I've sent Wade a couple emails & actually had a brief phone call with him... I know I'll ultimately miss the swelled up look of my unit once the surgery results fully settle out...
This site is so wonderfully supportive & everyone on here (who is being truly honest) is to be commended for contributing... especially M7 for his wonderfully positive attitude about this & in support of other members.... I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at how much support I've gotten even just seeing others "attitudes get perked up from the site"... Its just great... So, everyone who maintains the site deserves a huge THANKS!! I dont post much so may not post again but wanted to at least put out another message post procedure about how its going... Ok, way too many words... CIAO & Happy Holidays....!!
Go Cowboys / Mavs / Rangers & Bring on 2012!!!

Thanks for the kind words. You should continue to improve in length and Girth. Remember to do the stretching and use the VED. Do pumping (light pumping) 3x's day (especially morning) for a duration of no more than 10 minutes/session. I never gained back ALL of my length or Girth but still had an awesome outcome. PMMA has brought me more Girth than I was born with though I do miss my God-given length and Girth (Around 8"length by 5.25"Girth). At 7.375"BPEL and 5.75"MSEG, I'm pretty satisfied with my size. I am planning another full session with Dr. Casavantes early next year. My final goal is to hit at least 6.25"MSEG. At that point, I am done. I've been terribly busy so I apologize for not being there as much as I'd like. I'm in the process of counseling several men right now (all with different injuries from manual PE). Best of luck and stay in touch.
Regards,
M7

Re: Peyronie's Disease... My experience
14 years 7 months ago #1271673006The "post op" shot shown here is from yesterday & -- I can tell you -- the improvement & difference still blows my mind.. I'm pretty much perfectly straightened out now which amazes me... I dont think I'll ever re-gain all lost length or my natural curvature (which I really liked).. However, I added back length of at least 1.5 inches... (4CM documented by photos taken by Dr during surgery)
Post op retraction due to tissue trauma etc is unavoidable as the surgery is quite invasive with massive bruising, swelling etc & a brand new circumsion line per "total de-gloving"... Dr E advised me not to take any measurements until at least 2-3 months post op. (which I have not). I'm following a very strict 4 - 6 X per day stretching routine... I'll start with very gentle VED X 3 (10 minutes) per day in another week or 2 max... I'm very very happy with results.. Still would like to get that last Inch or so back... Alas, probably not to be.... Any ideas on this appreciated... very very much appreciated...
At some point, I may post photos again but wanted to at least get something posted in case it might encourage others with similar injuries to seek surgical aid... Ok, way to much said.. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the courageous brothers out there...!!!
Everyone have a great 2012...!!!
H4M over and out...!!!!!!!!!

Re: Peyronie's Disease... My experience
14 years 4 months ago #1272632888I thought if it may be of some help to anyone -- I'm posting a few images.. albeit not very good ones... Cant seem to get the friggin exposure right... Anyway... I'm a bit over 3 months post op... I have a bit of the indentation on the lower left side that, for reasons unknown to myself or Dr Egydio, has returned... as expensive as the surgery was, I'm pretty disappointed... However, my curvature Its still a ton better than it was.. + I'm in touch regularly with Dr Egydio... We're looking at what can be done (aside from more surgery) to resolve it... I have had no other work done (PMMA etc..) Nothing..
I'm still pleased with the results of my Egydio graft surgery... The exposure on some of these photos is not too good but show my circumference at 7" at base and about 5 1/2 up near the glans... Length is about 6 1/2.. I have not been taking allot of measurements and fumbled around a bit with them and the camera at same time... I guess I should use a ruler but had tape handy so used it.. I still never recovered all my length... still missing at least that 1 angry Inch dang it..!!! I havent been on here in a while so thought I'd follow up with a few photos... Thanks for all the support & am still considering further enhancements... just wish I could get that last dang Inch back... doubtful at best... any thoughts on that are appreciated... greatly appreciated ... thank you all very much.. - H4M out..

Re: Peyronie's Disease... My experience
14 years 1 month ago #1273886541How is your recovert going now? I am thinking about going to Egydio but he has quoted $18,000!! It might be worth it if I can get length back but it sounds like you are a bit disappointed? Apart from Miracle 7x6 I cant find anyone who is entirelt happy after Egydio's surgery - so I'm getting just a bit sceptical. Do you mind if I ask how much Egydio charged you? Cheers.
