Dr. Elist has the bad reviews deleted from a lot of the review sites.

I did the same thing, I wrote to gq telling the truth about him
I wouldn't doubt Elist spent a good sum of money for this quack advertising.
Fuck Elist

Good God, Amy should really be ashamed of herself. She truly has no idea. None.

Re: Elist in February GQ
10 years 6 months ago #1290708174that is a great place to give reviews. When you google a Dr. it comes right up.
I also don't think you need to be a patient to write to GQ. Most letters to the editors want your name etc. Guys may be embarrassed, I said I had surgery on my penis but was not an Elist patient and found a support site and there are a lot of disasters posted and sent some links.
You can't get negative reviews removed on realself so long as you keep it impersonal and stay away from attacks, but plenty of detail is allowed and pictures.
FYI:
Doctor Answers 1Is the ELIST Implant safe?December 16th, 2015No, I do not believe that the Elist implant is safe at all. This solid silicone implant is not well tolerated in a soft tissue appendage such as the penis. It was shown in the 1970's and 1980's that silastic implants in the nose had a huge tendency to erode through the skin, resulting in horrible complications. Those implants were abandoned and have fallen off the map. The Elist implant is also silastic and, by definition, is neither safe nor reliable. The Elist website presents an advocacy for his implant with many slanted statements not only about the implant but, also about other techniques. If you go to phalloboards you will see that the postings about the Elist implant are nearly uniformly horrible. If you want to have phalloplasty, then see an experienced Plastic SURGEON

10 years 6 months ago #1290763478Hi xxx,Yes, I wrote about Dr. Elist. The story, which you can read here --
www.gq.com/story/penis-enlargement-surgery?src=longreads -- includes this paragraph that alerts readers to the potential dangers:
Of course, as with any surgery, there can be complications. While Elist's infection rate (3.3 percent) is far below the average for other implants, infections happen, and when they do, they're a drag. Other potential (though rare) negative outcomes, according to that clinical report Elist and his son commissioned: detachment of sutures (experienced by two out of 400 patients surveyed), implant breakage (one out of 400), and implant perforation of the skin (four out of 400). Elist acknowledges that because his procedure is so new, he has needed to refine it over time. But in each problematic case'many that resulted from men not being able to wait to try out the merchandise'he has fixed what went wrong for free.
I think that provides ample warning. Thanks for getting in touch.
Best,Amy
