Granted, I haven't had a negative experience from Elist - but let's just say I know what life is like after botched penile procedures. 'So, to have the nerve to minimize the trauma that a person goes through after such surgery is sickening (and she sounds like a fucking retard).

By the way, 'Elist has a 4.5 * rating on Yelp. 'Really. 'NO complaints to the medical board and NO negative yelp reviews? 'WHAT is going on?

Whenever I would post negative comments about Dr. Elist on a doctor review site, they would disappear after a few days...

Yeah, I sent a pretty detailed and explicit email with links to pics and explicit language. I don't think she cares much, and the statics she is using must have come from Elist so they are pretty useless.

Write to the medical board. He can't control that. He cannot control Yelp either, BUT if you are doing it with an account with no other posts or from a masked IP address, Yelp will filter your review out.

Someone could register elistimplantreviews.com and just post everything there too.

I googled him and he has a lot of SEO working for him (many pages of his own come up when you google "elist implant reviews" and "horrors" - he knows exactly what he's doing), but there are some very easy tricks to get reviews about him to come up high in google... maybe...google isn't that easy to predict, but the whole GQ thing is disturbing.

I think GQ did it because it is click bait...and it's win-win for one of their 22 year old idiot reporters. If Elist paid for this, then they have a conflict of interest and it is deceptive trade practices.

People who have had the Elist "experience" should write letters to the editor so they publish them in March. Think of how many more people will end up under his knife from that article.

that is a great place to give reviews. When you google a Dr. it comes right up.

I also don't think you need to be a patient to write to GQ. Most letters to the editors want your name etc. Guys may be embarrassed, I said I had surgery on my penis but was not an Elist patient and found a support site and there are a lot of disasters posted and sent some links.

You can't get negative reviews removed on realself so long as you keep it impersonal and stay away from attacks, but plenty of detail is allowed and pictures.

I carnt beleive this criminal, when I wake up in the morning I'm going to email Peter Hitchens, I think every member on this board should send an email, I honestly am tempted to go to daily mail hq. Outrageous

She probably doesn't care because it was some sort of contractual PR... her going back on the article could even entail a lawsuit, who knows?? I'm not privy to the workings of a national brand magazine, but I suspect she got her cut and will be moving on to her next piece/article.

She's not in the business of saving penises or shedding light on unscrupulous doctors, and for that I'm not sure there is much I can do to blame her personally, but rather, GQ as a whole...given their willingness to publish whatever.

Yeah, I work with a lot of PR people, some of whom are lovely - but they all think their job is basically BS and the last thing they want is someone bringing attention to their published work as flawed. She is probably on to another article on the benefits of juicing already.
