Thank you and will do! I’ll share some before and afters after the surgery. I’m a bit nervous but I’m looking forward to having them removed at last.

I had my surgery on Tuesday and the two largest and most bothersome lumps were removed, along with a few smaller nodules. Honestly, they looked like chewed up Balls of gum. Two incisions were made, one over each of the larger nodules. I was awake for the whole procedure but lying flat on my back so I couldn’t see what was going on, which was probably for the best.
They attached a grounding device to my thigh, which the surgeon used to cauterise the blood vessels and control bleeding. I had no idea that was even a thing. Overall, I think it went well and I’m relieved to have the two biggest lumps gone.
I caught a quick glimpse of my penis once the dissolvable stitches were in. The surgeon covered them with steri-strips and then a gauze dressing. He gave me a supply and advised changing it daily. I was prescribed antibiotics and painkillers. It was sore on Tuesday but I felt fine yesterday and haven’t needed any pain relief since. Showering has been a bit of a pain and I honestly can’t be bothered dealing with wrapping my penis with cling film every single day, so for the next few days I’m just using a no-rinse body cleansing foam and washing my face and hair in the sink.
I’ve got a follow-up appointment next Tuesday where he’ll remove the steri-strips and check how the healing is coming along. Fingers crossed the scars aren’t too noticeable. I’ve found a decent scar serum online and plan to start using it after next week.
Any extra advice and tips for my healing process would be greatly appreciated. To add, I’m Type 1 Diabetic so my surgeon was a little bit concerned about the healing process, but things seem to be going well.

Thank you! I’m really paranoid about getting it wet so I will give this a go.

atxguy wrote: dang! Those are huge. Two of mine were about that big maybe not quite but they were hard as rocks. Glad you’re healing well.
Yeah they’re pretty damn ugly! I picked one of them up and it was also as hard as a rock. It feels like you’re able to squeeze them when they’re under the skin, but I now realise you’re just squeezing soft tissue.
Thank you. The second incision is slow improving each day and the scab is starting to fall off. The area around the incision is slightly raised. I’ve been told this is a “healing ridge” and will soften over time as the scar settles.
How are things with you? Hope all is well.

Re: My fight against nodules
3 months 2 weeks ago #1308724972Sections proximal to the constricted area, roughly 2/3 of my Dick is almost useless in terms of sensation.
I still cannot ejaculate 99% of the time and now 100% of the time it’s incredibly painful. It’s turned into pelvic floor dysfunction and I’m starting PT on that. Not real hopeful about that given only 70% get significant change. The PT guy said I can learn some skills and build some muscles and learn some relaxation to get relief but that reality is that this may be permanent and I just learned how to manage it. It’s not what I needed to hear.
I am submitting my appeal to Texas medical board who dismissed my complaint against him. They did not seem to read my complaint. I swear their MO is to dismissed for lack of evidence and hope that people don’t appeal. Or don’t read it and just dismiss it, which is what happened on this situation.
I learned more about the risks of this surgery and their dismissal letter than anything Dr Kansas ever shared with me. It was also interesting to know that the letter seemed hostile. I even shared it with my therapist who wrote back asking what’s this anger about?
I guess someone has to die before DMV will actually do anything against a doctor. They seem hell bent on protecting them. Whether my stuff is permanent or not, I will not live the next 10 to 15 years celibate and in pain.
Here are a couple of the pics
