Yes, I am very concerned for you. Skin erosion is not a very upbeat description.

I suspect it's related to bacteria getting from continual PGE1 injections. If you have foreign material in your penis and continue to inject into it, you are running the risk of infection.

I am not sure if the cysts are due to PMMA in the skin (which according to a research paper on the web is one of the identified complications), or how much genetics played a role. I suspect I had the cysts much longer than I realized, until they became obvious (large bulges of fluid undert the skin. If you read some of my old posts I referred to fluid build up during masturbation, and in my ignorance I may have conflated this and the cysts. Obviously Dr. C. declined to inject more PMMA inside me very long ago (even touch ups) and my growth from about 8.5 inch girth to 11.6 inch girth has been from PGE-1 injections, which also help with severe ED (read my previous posts).

I've had multiple cysts on my body from a large one on my back that required surgical intervention to multiple pilonidal cysts on my buttocks requiring multiple surgeries. One thing in common with all cysts was that after surgery or rupture they were/are all open (dirty) wounds susceptible to infection.

I know from that experience that you needed to pack those large and deep cysts with gauze to get them to heal from the inside out, and not have the top skin close too soon. Later in the the healing I had to switch to non-stick pads to cover the wound (to protect my clothes) and to not tear the skin which is trying to close together.

With my penis, I have observed white colored tissue marbled in with veins and capillaries growing back inside my penis cysts (evidence of healing). As the bottom of the cysts filled in with tissue I was looking forward to the skin growing back. I've been using non-stick pads cut to size with OTC triple antibiotic ointment. However, the edges of the pads (since they were cut) are compromised and as my penis shifts around and changes size during the day, they have stuck to the tissue, tearing it, and causing some pain. I suspect a proper antibiotic prescription might help with healing too (if it's not too late for the skin).
Another factor are secondary skin wounds in surrounding areas that have possibly become infected. They started as peeling dry patches and psychologically I couldn't resist peeling them. Eventually these become pitted scab covered wounds, another weak (compromised) portion of the skin. So the skin between the cysts and these wounds is fighting a losing battle for survival and is slowly eroding away. I've extended the pads (wound dressings) to cover these areas too since they are leaking and to prevent me from being tempted to pick scabs and make things worse. Though as recently as last night my lizard brain had me pull off a dry scab that was partially sticking up like a hang nail just waiting to be peeled off, at one of the wounds in orbit around an open cyst. To mitigate against this behavior I will endeavor to keep all the affected areas covered with the non-stick pads.

Another thing I know about cysts and healing is that even in the best case scenario, where they close up without needing skin grafts, like all my other healed cysts, they leave a hell of a scar on the skin in the aftermath. I'm going to ask the urologist if erections are having a negative impact on healing. To enjoy life (as best as possible) i have continued to use PGE1 and masturbate (stress relief), but I have noticed pain in the skin at the wounds, suggesting tearing might be occurring during erections.

I will say that I got silicone microdrops in a touch up years back and then two injections of 25cc silicone in my scrotum from Dr. C.

I've never heard of PMMA stuck in the skin causing such problems, If it can then it's worrying because it's very common for PMMA cluster in the skin at the entry hole.

Now that you've explained that you also have cysts on other areas of your body, I think those on your penis might be there by happenstance (lie elsewhere on your body.

I have PMMA in my Dick too and I am about 8" around. I too notice fluid (probably lymphatic fluid) retention. I suspect that the PMMA/collagen mass acts like a sponge and retains fluid and greatly slows the natural drainage from the body. If I slip on a spandex sleeve over my shaft for say 30mins or so and when I take it off my Girth will shrink down approx 0.5" to 0.75" only to expand back to normal some minutes later.

As for people wanting pics. I suspect some people are just curious to to see what a 12" Girth Dick looks like. If you look through the posts on the forum, many of the posts are those that request the penis owner to post pics! Of course, some who have had PMMA, silicone etc. are concerned if this will also happen to them in the future.

With your condition, I would find way to masturbate that doesn't involve touching your penile skin. Do a search on "electro sex" oe "electro stim" . Basically you attach two electrical conductors on your penis, can be conductive rubber rings, self stick pads etc. (I use the pads). These will connect to a special TENS electronic box that controls the electrical pulse duration, intensity etc. It will take some experimentation to what works best for you personally, but I can assure you the orgasms can be super intense. My config is one pad (cut to half side) stuck over the tip of the penis covering the pee hole and one pad on the underside of the shaft just in front of the sack. When I feel I'm about to cum, I re position the pad on the glans so that it is only cover half or the pee hole so that the pad doesn't impede the ejaculation.

Now you just need to determine what is causing all those cysts to appear.

With the paper published at NIH about PMMA penis enlargement, cysts could be one of the known side effects (they also mentioned nodules which we know is common). Some people like me are probably more susceptible to cysts.

I saw the Urologist and he wasn't aware of PMMA, even though I mentioned it to him when I first started seeing him for PGE1 prescriptions. He assumed it was all silicone. Regardless, he felt that the skin wouldn't regrow/heal due to the foreign body implanted in it and recommended Removal. He was all flustered by the size and didn't even remove the bandages though, and basically stated I should see another doctor (recommended a couple). He also agreed that the skin would probably keep eroding and that the two openings would join together to become one large open would covering half my Dick.

I'm skeptical about the skin not being able to regrow with proper wound care and infection treatment (if needed). Is there anyone on here (possibly medically trained) that can fact check that?

We need to find out if the Necrosis was caused by the PMMA, if so, it will be the first case of this kind, I think it was more likely caused by the silicone though.

I'm almost 100% sure it isn't due to PMMA. PMMA cysts are just like nodules in the deeper tissues. It wouldn't effect the skin. What we've got here is someone who pumps, clamps and uses PGE1 constantly. He also suffers from cysts in general and has had two rounds of silicone which is injected nearer to the surface. Cysts are often due to chronic inflammation or infection. I just can't imagine it's related to PMMA as they are in the skin surface, he has silicone above the PMMA and must have massive inflammation all the time due to his PE regime and constantly injects, thus risking infection.

Granted that migration very likely occurred between the scrotum and penis, the two rounds of silicone were in the scrotum. The silicone in the penis was a small amount that Avanti Derma refers to as microdrops and markets as their smooth finish. As mentioned before when I went in for the last injection to my scrotum (last summer), I pointed out what I thought was edema to Dr. C, and he corrected me that it was a cyst. He did drain the cyst using a syringe and it was reduced for a time.

It's normal for cysts to open/rupture, and then you normally have them heal from the bottom up. I have clearly seen new tissue growing in the bottom of the pits, occupying the space where fluid used to be. However, with a normal cyst healing the skin grows in at the top. In most cases the skin grows much faster than the internal tissues, so you have to pack the wound to prevent it from closing over too soon (which would leave another void where fluid would build up and get infected).

I'm theorizing one possible positive (but slow) outcome will be the skin growing back slower than normal. I have to bank on the likelihood that the foreign body material (PMMA and silicone) in the skin is not uniformly distributed and is "marbleized" into the skin. So hopefully some skin (albeit a smaller amount than a normal person) will grow, apparently at an extremely slow pace. I think the risk is that additional erosion outpaces the slow regrowth that is occurring.

So how large are you? I ask because I suspect/know that I may be in the same category. I'm 2 weeks out from my last session and my Girth is 8" when Erect.
