TOPIC: Length loss after adult circumcision?

Hello, I‘ve been considering adult Circumcision lately but I heard rather often that you lose length in the process. I assumed it was a matter of Erection quality. If not where does the shrinkage come from?

If too much skin is removed, this can affect the length. Normally this isn't anything to worry about.

As someone who has always been cut (circumcised) since birth, I find this area a bit confusing. Is there a chance that when measuring a unit with the foreskin closed (encapsulating the glans and extending forward) that this additional length is measured? If this is the case, it's a useless measurement in my opinion.

I just don't see how the act of circumcision in adulthood (when your penis is fully developed) would impact length, especially to the extent that losses are significant.

Any ideas how this would happen, please do share. Again, being circumcised all my life, I have a hard time imagining how anyone loses any "functional length" by the act of circumcision. For all that I know about penis enlargement, there is much I still have to learn.

I spend the last days researching but didn’t really find much. The only thing I could find was

@uncuthero Did you have a tight circumcision? I guess it depends on the practitioner mainly

I'm curious about this as well now. I'm 46 and I'm thinking about getting a Circumcision so I can have better results when I do PhalloFILL afterwards.

I lost half Inch after my Circumcision. I thought my doctor screwed me up but seems like this is probably normal. I thought it was as simple as cutting excess skin. However, mine had a deep cut at the base of head with Sutures. After the surgery, I still had some Foreskin left. I would ask your doctor how is the procedure done before you go with it. Good luck

I had a discussions with my doctor today and he called BS on length loss after Circumcision. Take that for what its worth.

I am not sure what happened with my Circumcision. In my opinion mine was butchered because i had a deep cut at the base of the head. I had to go see my private doctor because the incision had open. I though they were just going to cut the excess skin and does it. That was not the case. I am not sure if there are different ways to do that on adults. Bottom line is that I lost length because of it. I am going to look up the pictures of it so you all have a better idea. I will post later if I find them.

Here are the pictures. Has anyone here had your Circumcision done like mine? Once the skin opened, I tried to close it with some liquid bandage but it did not work.

Looks like you could have some keloiding happening. Have you ever had a previous procedure where an incision was done, or is there a history of keloid scars in your family? Also, how long ago was this done?

I had a therapeutic Circumcision after 3 cycles of PMMA, the doctor left as much skin as possible to allow the sliding on the sides of the glans, not much skin was removed but I can say that I lost 4-5 millimeters in length, being 16.5 cm now I am 16 cm. It does not change much but since it is not very long I was not enthusiastic about this thing, in addition I had some PMMA on the lateral part of the Foreskin that increased the thickness that has now been cut.
