5S surgery at Proud UROLOGY Seoul
11 months 1 week ago #1308722662After months of research and lack of initiative shown by clinics in UK( replying to queries, shady reviews and vague pricing) I decided to go to S Korea for my surgery at the beginning of August.
Firstly Non operation advise
Flights- if travelling from far or Europe take connecting flights and take the one with leg space and comfort (if you can afford business or first then great) as way back will be tricky with bandage and peeing especially if you are getting Circumcised.
Hotel- please stay near to the clinic, the day i had my surgery it started bleeding in the evening around 5.45 pm and I called them and they advised me to come straight away. Clinic closes at 6 but they waited and examined and changed the bandage. It will be a new environment with different language so stay closer to the clinic. Also its the most happening part of Seoul plus you will save money on transport going every day to clinic for bandage change. Yes, you will have to go everyday for bandage change while you are there. I would advise you minimum 6 days and the clinic is also opened on Saturday.
Pre Op- I went for 5S and others have discussed the procedures so I won't go into it much but James is really helpful and overall the place is very welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. My surgery lasted for an hour and post op i was given antibiotics and painkillers (you have to.pay around $36) . Believe me when I write this, I had no blue or purple Balls or any pain. The pain killers are untouched and even they advised me to rest but due to no pain I explored the whole city doing around 20k steps on average. I wont advise you to do the same but its just appreciation for the clinic that how good they are in doing their job.
Actually I had little pain when having erections while sleeping but it was manageable.
I had a buried penis so they degloved the penis and did the ligamentoysis so I have no visible scar.
3 days ago Circumcision stitches were removed at local clinic in UK with no issues.
As of today 18 days post op, not BP
Flaccid length - 3.8 Inch
FG - base 5.5 Inch down from 6
Middle 5.2 Inch down from 5.7
At the top 5 Inch down from 5.5
I am not getting much Erection right now but iwhen i do get its nearly 1 Inch less in EL at the moment
For me these results are amazing and I just stand in front of mirror admire the Flaccid penis and it looks natural
I know it will go down further but as far I have some positive results and no complications I will be going back next year to get more Girth.
PE procedures are like lottery- work for some and bring complications for some so if one wants to take the gamble then go to PROUD Urology as one will have less chances of some side affects.
I didn't take any pictures pre op but will post some pictures in couple of weeks

And yes, it also helps that their Patient Coordinator & Liaison is fluent in English.

I'd like to ask you how the graft felt at the base. Can you feel the edge of it or is it very close to the pubic bone?

Re: 5S surgery at Proud UROLOGY Seoul
9 months 1 week ago #1308723473It's been 2 5 months since op.
Here are the observations
EG is stabilised at 5.1 Inch and on a good day 5.3 (probably numbers will change over next 2 months)
Preop - EG was 4.4"
My EL is very much coming back to normal but still not there yet.
Derm has soften up little bit. It doesn't wrap around penis completely. In my case , its like 50% of the penis from top so I can feel the lines running on the side.
The gap between derm and pubic is there and can be felt especially on sides as on top of i have body fat. Near Glans its covered by the skin post Circumcision so you dont feel much there
PE surgery hasn't worked for me yet as I when masturbate its kind of quick but Proud have told me it will take time as surgical site might not have healed completely.
Overall I have gained 0.7inch as of yet and no complications so all good, aesthetically it looks good.
Cost and recovery factor is a huge factor so lets see if I will go for second round.
After reading on Internet- over 5 inches is a great Girth apparently but it still looks slim shady at 5.1

This aspect of the gaps and the edges that can be felt is also a concern; it's something that would make me rethink if I were about to undergo this. It's not that I'm a perfectionist, but it would bother me (of course, speaking for myself, without really knowing what the visual aspect and touch are like). In my ignorance, I wonder why the graft can't be wrapped around the entire circumference of the penis. Is it to avoid putting pressure on the urethra?
I know everything can be fixed in a second or third round, but I don't know how the touch-ups are done—whether they're surgical or if permanent fillers are used to avoid the need for touch-ups every now and then—, so it would be more satisfying if everything were resolved in a single procedure, even to serve patients who live far away and can't easily return to the clinic.

Re: 5S surgery at Proud UROLOGY Seoul
9 months 1 week ago #1308723487How long did it take for your penis to feel all healed up and maneuverable?
How long till the Erection pain completely goes away?
How is your Erection quality after 4 weeks? (percentage wise)
And how different does it feel sensation wise during masturbation and/or sex?
Thanks in advance.

Re: 5S surgery at Proud UROLOGY Seoul
9 months 1 week ago #1308723489I’m 10 months out, and the graft is still a bit firm, but it doesn’t bother me. I think it feels like a new normal. It takes some time to get used to.
No pain after 4 weeks. It really tapered off after the first week but took some time to completely go away. Everyone is different, so if it gets less and less every day you are on the right path.
Erections are good. The first good one after the procedure felt like it was going to split my skin lol. I think it’s harder now than before the procedure.
Sex is amazing. The feeling is as good as it was before with the added bonus of a little mere staying power.
The healing process is really slow. I was not aware of how much time it takes or the different sensations I got along the way. Everyone says it’s a journey, but nobody describes the journey. I spent a lot of time regretting my decision, but now I’m happy I did it. It’s been a lot of fun.
Hope this helps.
