TOPIC: Ellanse approval by FDA in USA

Does anyone know when the expected approval of Ellanse will be in the US? I thought I read that the FDA was reviewing it and it might be in 2020

Also curious as it seems to be the favored method.

Yall dont hold your breath on this right now. Ive been talking with some of the doctors here in the US and they also feel that the company that bought the product line doesnt really give a shit. just my two cents for now.

Confused bc I’ve seen people reference Morgenstern offering Ellanse. Obviously some confusion.

They were part of trialing it but with all "FDA politics," they were told to no longer use it until it's fully cleared. It's unfortunate, Dr. Carney and Dr. Morganstern are esteemed Urologists in their own right, and they knew full well of Ellanse's potential, but until such time the FDA comes around, your only options for Ellanse are abroad (outside of U.S.).

I saw a post two days ago with someone getting it at Morganstern. I’m so confused.

Check the dates of those posts. Also, it is possible that people who had Ellanse previously might still be able to get Revision with Ellanse because it stays in line with their treatment, but any new use of the product is not available in the U.S.
