TOPIC: Dr. Elist Ex-Patient - Any others out there who had the implant removed wanna chat? Compare notes?

I used to be a member of this board many years ago, but haven't posted in a LONG time.. Years actually.

I was an Elist patient who had the ball implants and penile implant. I had them all removed within a year.

I wanted to touch base with some Ex-Elist patients who had the penile implant removed.

Since the implant removals about 2010-11:

1. I have significant Erectile dysfunction.
2. I lost about 2.5-3 inches of length (I used to be 8 inches long)
3. I am wondering if Elist left some stitching in the penis. Specifically under the glans on both sides. anyone else have this issue? I am considering going to get me penis scan to see if he left anything in there.

Also, anyone have any experience with Dr. Gary Alter in Los angeles?

and P.S. don't go to this psycho. All he cares about is making money. these implants are a stupid idea and I am pissed I talked myself into it along with Dr. Elist's lies about how easy it is to remove and the consequences.

Why did you get that operation if you were 8 inches in length? how thick were you?

Just because he had 8" to start with doesn't mean he wouldn't want to be bigger.
Plus, Elist's pitch is about how perfect his implant is, no complications, and can easily be removed without any complications.

Can i ask why did you get it removed?? I too have one at about 4 months now, it does suck at times, and i wonder if im ever gonna get use to the feel of it,, but when i have sex, knowing i am really confident and seing my new girls expressions, something ive never experienced before make me wonder if it could ever be uncomfortable enouph to lose that new part of my life plus the 20 or so thousand bucks i got vested into this thing with its cost, flights, and time off,, what made you removers get it removed?? the fact that it is generally always uncomfortable??

A little history. I originally just wanted the Balls. When I got to the office, he (Elist) gave me the pitch on the penile implant and I could get a combo deal. As I was a Grower he told me it would always be "out" more because of the implant. I was also told that if I wanted it removed it wouldn't cause any issues.


I got it out because it because detached within 6-8 months. When I went into his office, the first thing he told me it "looked great!" I immediately knew this guy was full of shit. When he felt it, he said he would have to reattach it, then offered me the next size up!

I was so pissed that this DR. had more interest in selling me than my health.

I had it removed within two weeks.

It pains me so much every time we read about another "elist victim" here, I wonder how many more are out there who go in silence!!!!

He may have left scar tissue when he removed it, Also, he does not stitch back the shaft to the pubic area the same way it was before and that can cause loss of length AND curvature.

Let's us know if you do a scan and what the findings are.

Are any Ex Elist patients feel they have something under the glans even though the penile implant was removed?

I did right after my Removal, however the pain has pretty much stopped now that I am 5 1/2 months out.

There is definitely something under my glans.. either stitches left in or a staple.

As I mentioned, Dr. Elist told me he removed everything.

I may speak with an attorney.

Anyone else have a similar issue with Dr. Elist implant Removal?

You are correct that he reattaches is different than when is was original. I am having an issue with how my penis hang then before.

Did you have the issue and get it reattached?

I'm considering going to Gary Alter in LA since he is a Urologist and plastic surgeon. But heard he is very expensive...

If I recall correctly from the Mustang Saga, Dr.Elist was leaving a couple of stitches in Mustang shaft as well, he pointed out that and got them removed.

There place where complaints can logged about your situation so that thing can reinvestigated and potentially pulled from the market.

Any type of documentation about your situation could potentially help you in the event of further problems that may arise from that implant even after it's been removed. I would highly suggest that you go to the FDA website and log complaint. That doctor should be held accountable for how he marked his product.

I understand the personal nature in regards to this situation however a physician should be held accountable for misrepresenting their product and not honestly disclosing potential risks irregardless of the waiver you sign any type of documentation could potentially help yourself, are in the event of a class action lawsuit it would definitely prove beneficial.
