TOPIC: White ring around entry wound

Hey guys

So I'm about to board my flight back home and I noticed that the entry wound the I accidentally opened last night formed a sort of white ring around it. I took a pic in the bathroom but does anyone know what this means infection or something worse? The wound hole is also open now

No, it does not mean infection. It is just your body healing. This is probably just dry skin around the entry point. It appears similar to how it would look if you picked off a scab.
Nothing to worry about.

It looks OK.... but I have seen a very slow to heal entry point.
