Vacuum Pumping post PMMA - Is it safe?
10 months 1 week ago #1308723222I got my 1st session implant done almost two years ago. I love the results, going from 5.2 to close to 5.9 inches in one round. Recently I purchased a digital vacuum pump from size matters that has a portable electronic trigger with 5 options on pumping. I did so because now being in my mid-forties, I feel like my Erection quality and hardness has gone down some. I'm not saying I'm having ED issues, I'm just saying it takes more to get me hard and keep it at 100 percent.
I've been using the pump these past couple of months about twice a week for 10 minutes a session at 15 psi, which I think it great because the device keeps it at that pressure. I get temporary gains of + 0.3 inches after each sessions and I like that it gives me a plumpier Flaccid look, less retracted, and my erections the next day are usually stronger.
My question to the forum and to any doctors is, is it safe? Am I messing with the PMMA filler? Could there be problems down the road?
I do plan to get another session done on the underside, I'm just waiting for Avanti Derma to eventually offer it.

10 months 1 week ago #1308723242They agreed that pumping can help increase the skin elasticity for potentially creating more space for additional PMMA filler.

10 months 4 days ago #1308723257I have been slow to return for round 2 because life is life-ing. Trying my best to manage funds and also be responsible.
I know avanti encourages pumping before and during rounds for elasticity of the skin (being able to add more filler). I’m doing this for general good EQ. And my wife seems to enjoy it more when I’m thicker post-sessions. I was wondering if this is something I can regularly perform and if there’s any safety or guidance from experts. I’m specifically wondering if the pumping messes with the filler placement or if there’s a chance I could cause nodules/granulomas, or even worse, accelerate EQ issues. On that topic, I don’t pump past what I can tolerate, which is at the 15 psi range and 10 minutes steady.

Funny enough, Ian just gave me half an Ativan as im about to walk into round 3. I do have an issue with migrated filler to right underside, but don’t believe that’s from pumping. I didn’t pump until 6 months had passed after round 2.
I am sitting at 7.5” x 6.2” — was hoping to get to 7” girth this round, but know that is unlikely, I believe I will end up around 6.7" girth at most, and I think I can live with that. Going for a blend of girth and aesthetics this round.

I just realized I didn't really answer your question. I pumped about 4 months or so after my round 1 and did not have any movement of the implant.
I then pumped again several months after round 2 and did not have any movement of the implant then either.
Ian and Dr. Morales were both glad to hear I had been pumping, so I would take that as an endorsement from Avanti Derma to pump at least 3 months after the procedure; even then I would start out light.
I assume you mean you have pumped to 15kpa and not 15 psi since 15 psi would be over 100kpa. Leading up to my round 3, I was pumping for 3x 10 min sessions (with mini 10 sec breaks every 3 mins) with longer 3 min breaks in between sets. Set 1 would be at 27kpa, set 2 at 31kpa and set 3 at 35kpa. This is something I built up to over time after trial and error. When I first started pumping over 10 years ago, I started out at like 10kpa (1.5psi).

8 months 4 weeks ago #1308723531I apologize, but I'm not sure what the question is you're looking for an answer to. Whether or not it's okay to pump after having penile filler? Sorry for my confusion.I'm curious about this as well. Maybe we can get a response from a provider

Yes, is generally safe for the penis and the filler structure itself to use a pump after getting filler? Will it mess with the location of the filler on the penis? Does it have a negative impact on the look of the penis because of its effect on the filler?

Re: Vacuum Pumping post PMMA - Is it safe?
8 months 4 weeks ago #1308723535Thank you for clarifying for me. Once the filler has "settled," so after about 3 weeks for Rejuvall patients (this timeline is going to vary depending on provider and material used), it is totally safe to start pumping again. Pumping won't have any effect on the filler, its placement, or how it looks after the filler has set.Yes, is generally safe for the penis and the filler structure itself to use a pump after getting filler? 2 months 1 day ago #1308725233Can I resume scrotum pumping after getting pmma girth enlargement once healed?Dr_Tsay wrote: @dm1900 I think pumping once healed after GE procedure is safe. It maybe a little uncomfortable the first week or two but once the soreness is gone and bruising and swelling has subsided it should be fine to pump. I have seen like 2 cases where the guys were maybe pumping a little agressively (not sure the pressure) and got some "diviots" at the base. It could have been too much pressure or pumping too early. Either way I think those were the only "issues" I have witnessed.
Hope this helps.

No I don’t. I was contemplating one Pmma girth enhancement but was wondering if pumping my scrotum once healed from surgery would cause some kind of migration
