TOPIC: *SPOILER ALERT* Star Wars The Force Awakens

Been a huge Star Wars junkie since 1977. Who has seen it? Likes, dislikes? I am a mid to late forties guy that grew up in the Lucas films era. We waited 7 hours (an eternity for an 8 year old boy) in one line, that didnt move mind you, to see Star Wars on opening night in 1977.

Friday night I took my 19 year old son to see the movie in 3d. We arrived at 730 bought tickets to the 900 showing. The imax and non 3d shows were sold out, there was plenty of seating for the 3d show, I wonder why the difference?


I liked it was not as much computer generated ( noticable like jar jar binks ) and the new young female is smokin hot too with legs for days.....

Won't lie... Spoiler pissed me off. Oh well, I can't unread it.

I guess I figured guys that had not seen it wouldn't read it. That was only one facet of multiple story lines goin on..... and it wasn't intended at all.

Again I was hoping to get a good thread goin on a universal non pe/phallo subject not piss a few of you guys off....

No worries bro. I got over it. The issue was there was no foretelling of a spoiler. That's why you see "SPOILER ALERT" on the web so you are forewarned that continued reading will reveal plot details, major events, twists, character details, etc. That statement should have been first in the title of the thread. I'd love to discuss the movie... once I've seen it.

I saw the original movie the day it was released at the drive in with my parents. I'm a HUGE fan. Being in my 40's, I've watched the saga grow and have collected memorabilia along the way. I've heard the movie is good from family and friends. I'm waiting for the madness to die down so I can really enjoy the film.

Again, I got over the spoiler. Perhaps you can create a new thread that notifies the reader that it contains spoilers and we can all contribute once we've seen the movie. Alternatively, I can edit the title of this thread to include the alert if you'd prefer. PM me if needed.
