Methods.? Fifty patients with subjective small penis who visited Korea University Guro outpatient clinic were enrolled and prospectively followed. Restylane Sub-Q (Q-med, Upssala, Sweden) was injected into the fascial layer of penile body via 21G cannula with 'Back & Forth Technique' and homogenized with a roller.Looks like 20cc of Restylane in the penis yielded a 4cm (1.5') increase in girth at 18 months!

question is: what kind of Erection quality do you get from Restylane? My understand is it is very, very poor: the product does move along the shaft, collects in lumps and it is as spongy, if not spongier than FFT.

I'm wondering about the "homogenized with a roller" part. Do they have to use the roller to distribute the material evenly?

First thought that popped into my head was some nurse standing there with a rolling pin working on some guy's Dick like its pie dough.

Okay, there have been several "studies" posted about Restylane and similar products used for enhancing the glans. Some doctors do this for a substantial fee in the US. Being a cheap ass (and an engineer by trade) I embarked upon my own version of this. I had my first round of PMMA at the being of January and have been dis-satified with the look of the shaft to glans since about a week after the procedure. I researched this extensively and decided that for me, I would procede. The following is a summary of what I have done to date.

This is the kit I purchased. 2mL of Restylane with Lidocaine, some anti-biotics, and a lidocane cream. I first showered, then used the anti-bacterial cream left over from my PMMA procedure to disinfect the glans. I then numbed the glans with the Lidocane(5%) cream for 20 minutes

My next step was to inject the Restylane into the glans. This was actually not painful at all. The Lidocane cream did an excellent job of numbing the glans area and the needles were very small. The first picture is the "before" shot. I realized after doing this that I screwed up and did not take measurements for the before and after. Sorry about that.

This is the "final" pic of what the glans looked like after I was done. I have realized that doing this myself has been somewhat amateurish, but I wanted to see what the possible results were before laying out a bunch of cash. The first thing I realized is that doing this yourself poses some difficulties in manipulating the glans and syringe and getting the right result all at the same time. NOT EASY to do! I was a bit nervous about this and only had one hand free at any time to try and get this right. I have a feeling that I did not do a professional job, but for my first go round, it didn't turn out too bad. Based on what I have seen to date, I think that my glans could have taken 4mL easily and I could have gotten a much more uniform result with more product. I did this last night, so I am only 24 hours out, but the result is not exactly what I had hoped it would be. I will continue to massage the glans and try to work out the un-even areas. I can tell there is a difference between the before and after, but it is not the result I wanted exactly. I will now wait a week to let things settle out and then re-evaluate the results and will post what is happening. My goal is to find a way to enhance the look, size and feel of the glans. I will wait at least 3 months before trying again. Right now I have a buch of bumps on the glans, but have managed to fill in some areas and enhance the total size somewhat. Not quite what I had hoped for, but it is a step in the right direction for me.

Careful friend, be very careful with all of this as I personally never recommend self-injections (unless you happen to be a nurse or are well versed in penile anatomy & physiology) for augmentation of the penis/glans.
It looks like you have decided to experiment and the decision to forgo a medical professional is yours alone. That being said, your findings can prove beneficial to the forum, however I certainly don't recommend others trying this kind of stuff independent of professional medical oversight.
Your immediate gain in size could be attributed to the swelling that your injection sites are experiencing from the needle(s), so it may be hard to assess size for a while. Thanks for sharing with us!

S.O. - you are VERY correct in stating that the decision to forgo a medical professional is MINE alone. I am NOT avocating that anyone else do this by any means. I personally spent a lot of time researching this before embarking on this endevour. I did not take this lightly. My only goal in sharing this is to help shed some light upon the subject of glans enhancement. I know what the risks are and based upon this made a decision to go ahead. It is very experimental, but is fairly safe overall compared to other methods of glans enhancement to date, IMO. I am using a temporary filler for an off label purpose that does not have a lot of medical history for what I am doing, but has been used for this purpose in the past in other countries without the oversight we have here. My main issue has been that finding professional medical oversight is extremely difficult, probably even more so for glans enhancement that Girth or length. This seems to be why most people either go out of the US or end up spending thousands on different procedures. Even the PMMA that so many of us have undertaken cannot be done for a reasonable price here in the US. I will continue to monitor the results and will post the good and the bad in the interest of furthering our collective knowledge. I will wait until the swelling goes down and I can report back with some results beyond the initial procedure.

Don't inject the Restylane deeper than 3 mm from the skin surface. Otherwise you will inject it into the Corpus Spongiousum (i.e. into the blood) ---> no gain in glans Girth i.e. it will be a waste of the product and a possibility of a high risk of emboli . So please, just be careful only superficial injections .

@ Smartman, I appreciate the concern. I actually studied the injection technique, depth, etc... I can say that it is a lot more difficult when you are doing it than reading up on it. I suck at doing the "fan" technique. My photos show that as I ended up gong for the pin cushion technique instead. Kinda of plays into AG's point. But I would disagree with just one doctor's point of view. Hyaloronic acid has been used in a VERY limited fashion to date when talking about PE. Small studies, some of which are here and some evidence of helping with premature ejaculation also. But to date there have been no long term, large sample studies done on it. HA is a temporary filler that can be de-activated to a degree if needed. Fairly safe stuff compared to half the stuff we have done to ourselves on this forum IMO. I did this to see if it works. I am my own guinea pig. But I can share what happens with everyone and we'll see if this works at all.

How's the glans biggerbob? Just checking on you.
