It would be more appropriate if you shared your experience so others can learn from it. Simply bashing the doctor for the sake of bashing him is not what this forum is about. He's already earned whatever reputation he has through first-hand accounts, backed up credibly with photos, etc. You can follow suit, otherwise I'm advising you no longer post in this fashion.

I'm not sure I understand the poll answers. Also, I normally don't approve of polls outside the Polls Forum, but I'll make an exception because the thread content is relevant.

My friend (yes, a real friend, not me) is doing okay, I suppose, these days, though he has not had a girlfriend (that I'm aware of) since operation left him impotent.
However, that's all I'm able to provide since we haven't talked about it in years. I can say, though, that he is not the same person as before operation.

I know of two users on either this board, or the phalloboard.com site that are at least partially happy. One user goes by the name of "want more", or "Still want more". I am the other user and go by the name "Kent". I've detailed my experience so far, and the results are mixed. Hope that helps.

If after reading the threads about elist implant and the PMMA in this forum one decides to get the defunct silicone implant, then it is my humble opinion that their head needs to be examined....Again, it is my humble opinion!

I have a friend who confided in me that he was going to get the Elist implant. Elist made it sound like it was 100% safe, so my friend opted for it (perhaps naive at the time).
Post-surgery was great for 2 months. After that, he had major problems. The implant broke through his shaft skin, eventually breaking through his glans. He went back to Elist 3 months after his surgery to have it removed. After Elist removed implant my buddy was unable to achieve an Erection after that. In other words, he'll never have sex again. 27 years old he was at the time. Sheesh..I feel sorry for the guy.
IMO, do NOT have this surgery! You'll regret it.

As Mustang noted I am still happy with the implant, I went through a period where I was very worried about spontaneous infection when a couple cases were posted at the same time maybe a year ago, then I had a mild protrusion at one of the front "corners" (where the implant ends as it wraps around on each side). I found that pressing it down with a silicone cone that I had used previously for skin stretching puposes, worked to pretty much eliminate the protrusion, as wrapping would. So now that I've realized that an infection in my case seems remote (2 yrs out) and could be dealt with if it did happen. I've come to the decision to leave it in for now. I've always really liked the implant asthetically and functionally for sex. So I figure why go through another procedure (Removal) and then probably PMMA, when I like what I've got. I do have some other info with pics posted in case you don't know. I've also listed 10 other guys on one of the posts that at the time, as far as I knew, were satisfied with their implants.
Please don't get on me guys about promoting the implant. I'm just stating facts as I know them. I would also say that knowing what I know now about the implant vs PMMA, if some one is looking for Girth, I would suggest the PMMA. Another uniqueness with my case is that I didn't have it stitched internally at the glans, I went into this looking for a Foreskin look and Elist thought it would drop down around the glans, but actually just pulled the whole penis down for a great increase in Flaccid length. I was also planning on having it removed after the skin was strtced out, but really got addicted to the Girth. so all in all I like what I've got now, even though having Foreskin is still a dream of mine. This extra Girth kind of makes up for it in a way. Good luck

How is your friend doing these days? Is he still depressed and withdrawn from you? I feel depressed having a small penis, but not being able to be Erect sucks. Although my erections aren't great. Can he get Erect with viagra or injections at least??

Hey Mark, it is very good to hear from you again and that ur implant is doing well. No one will get on your case for being happy with your implant. Keep in touch on this board and update us when ever possible. You probably have the best and most successful implant that we know of....

Are there people who are happy with it? - Sure, but they will be few and far between. Also, happy with results is a relative term. You may not be happy with something that someone else is. Is it dangerous? - Yes, as are all forms of surgical PE. Should you get it? - That depends, but common sense dictates when something has a terrible track record, it's best avoided. Especially when it can affect sexual health and function, potentially for the rest of your life.

I can understand how your friend feels because I was blinded in wanting a bigger penis as well but I didnt have all the horror stories out & about for me to read & understand how bad Dr Elist lies about the implant.
Although I have lost some length in Erection status & I was depressed for a while myself after having to take out the implant, my erections actually are just as strong as before the operation & I actually gained over an Inch in Girth. Use to be 5 inches in Girth & now I am a bit over 6 inches in Girth but by no means would I advocate the implant.
Anyone thinking of getting this implant should NOT!

Also there is Mark. He had good luck with the implant. BUT, 2-3 people had good results out of many who had disastrous outcome...you do the math!
