I’m going in for my first HA procedure this week. Finally. I’m not sure how much I will get total this first enhancement period. I am currently scheduled for 12ml over two sessions.

My question is: Does anyone know that if I want to maintain what I have, do I pretty much have to get the same amount every 2 years, or can it be done to where once a year I go get enough to not lose any Girth?

I don’t think I’m looking forward to the healing and molding process too much. I’m going to have to do it twice this go around to get the results I want. But it would be nice to deal with it only one time, once a year in the future if that’s what other people do.

Just curious what works for others. Thanks

From what I can tell, the rate at which these fillers breakdown and absorb vary person-to-person, the timeframes the manufacturers give are effectively averages. So what you'll have to do is gauge your own dissipation levels every 6 months or so and make a judgement call.

Maybe in time with more HA reports, a more reasonable plan of attack will exist to better guide future patients. A many thanks to those who continue to report, and a sincere plea to those who may still lurk behind the curtains, feel free to chime in :)
