TOPIC: Covid restrictions returning to US

I just found out today, that you need a negative covid test to return back to the US? My appointment is on Wednesday what do I do?

Where are you from? Is getting a test difficult and are you vaccinated?

not vaccinated.. I'm waiting a few more years before I do. I just don't really trust something created in a year. But I'm from Texas so maybe that's why lol

You may want to contact your Clinic on answers regarding current border crossing policy (surely they've had other patients cross over in the last few days & weeks so if anyone knows, they would).

Also, the vaccine(s) were not created in a year, and the mRNA types like the Pfizer shot use a remarkable technology/advancement known for a better part of the last two decades; the reason these iterations of the vaccine weren't mass produced sooner was due to costs & logistics, and it took a worldwide pandemic to green light its implementation. Furthermore, the overwhelming success of the vaccine as it pertains to reducing deaths and hospitalizations deserves nothing short of praise. That said, this topic isn't about the efficacy of vaccines but it is my obligation to mention it regardless.

Don't worry about it. The negative Covid test regulation is only for flights. If you're crossing the land border you don't need this.
