TOPIC: Mikehok's pmma odyssey

Well I just got home to the UK from SD, I had PMMA Girth enhancement with Dr C on Tuesday. I travelled here with another member of this board who also had the procedure in a double appointment. There is no point in repeating what has been said many times before , the travel and the procedure were uneventful. I chose to play it safe and go with 10% concentration instead of 20%, I received 17cc. Wade explained to me during the procedure that sometimes there are areas on the penis where the PMMA won't stick. This applied to me on one side of the shaft and directly afterwards when I sat up to look at the result I could see a slight indentation with a bulge of PMMA below it. I guess this is one cause of imperfections. I was also very bruised and by the time I returned to the hotel I had really ballooned. The next day my Flaccid Girth had reached 5.1ins. It felt huge but I wouldn't say it was pleasant, it just felt like my Cock was wrapped in a soft and squishy coating. I woke in the night with an Erection and measured it at 5.8ins. By day 2 I had some redness and soreness on some areas of the shaft which slightly concerned me. I remembered reading Justabitmore had experienced something similar so I contacted him to ask his advice. He told me to get hold of a cream that Dr C had prescribed for him. But when I I spoke to Wade about this, he said they had never prescribed any cream ! That was a bit puzzling' I did however rub on some steroid cream which I happened to have. By day 3 the swelling had started to decrease and my Girth was 4.7ins. Today is day 4 and I am down to 4.5 ins. Bruising remains but is very slowly fading. At the moment the appearance and the size of my penis really doesn't mean anything as the swelling need to completely disappear and the new tissue generate. I can see it is going to take several weeks to return to a normal appearance. My only concern is the redness which still exists in patches on the shaft almost with a rash like appearance. I will keep an eye on it for the moment. Has anyone else had experience of this or anything similar ?? My pre PMMA stats were: FG = 3.5 to 3.9 ins (depending on temperature etc etc) EG = 5.1ins

I didnt get the redness you describe but i would highly recommend not putting topical steroid creams on your penis due to the Atrophy effect on what is already thin skin.

I would monitor it carefully and keep in contact with wade. Your penis has just undergone some trauma and everyone reacts differently sometimes, it could well subside in a few days. It took me almost 2 full weeks for everything to fully settle.

@mikehok: the white stuff was actually the normal color of my skin I think - it's the penis that was more red than the rest (is still so but it's not really shocking).

I took a lot at Capital's blog. He had a red tint over the whole of his penis, mine is more patchy. Also his bruising cleared up by day 7. Mine is nowhere near gone, I think it may be weeks before the dark colouration has disappeared.

Day 7Looking a bit better this morning, I applied sudocrem last night, it seems less red. Still purple all over from the dispersing bruise which will take weeks to disappear. But fingers crossed. So far the result is aesthetically amazing ! It looks better than before the procedure, not just in size but shape too. But I guess that once the collagen starts to form that could all change, and imperfections may start to appear. Swelling seems to more or less have gone, Flaccid Girth measures 4.2, which is still 0.5ins more than before. Erect is 5.6 which also 0.5 bigger. It's odd that Erect gains should equal Flaccid gains when you consider the tissue is spread out over a longer surface, when Erect.Olafspo, there was considerable fluid in the Foreskin at first but it has gone now.

My ex gf is calling on me this afternoon, sex will almost certainly be on offer. Shame I'm gonna have to turn it down, otherwise I might get a few difficult questions. My Dick is still purple !

Day 8Aesthetics are still very goodThe swelling has gone and Flaccid Girth seems to be holding at 4.1 to 4.2insI'm no longer red or sore so my concerns there are disappearingThe purple staining from the bruise is slowly dissipating but still very obvious and will take weeks to be gone. I also have bruising in my scrotum.My ex gf did call on me yesterday and started asking me why I didn't feel horny ! I made some feeble excuse about having a cold.

Day 10I spent a lot of time outside in the cold today, and it still retracted like my old Cock. A little big bigger perhaps but still an unpleasant reminder. I measured 20 mins after I had returned to the warm but it was still only 3.8 Flaccid Girth. That put me in a down mood. Later on this evening I measured at 4.2 FG, so I may not have actually lost anymore, it's so hard to know with Flaccid measurements.
From a psychological point of view the intial euphoria from the the size gain seems to have dried up. At first if felt big in comparison to my previous size, but already my brain seems to have adjusted to it. And I kept thinking how small it looked again !
I am about 0.3 ins up so far and I'm really hoping this is the low point and I get some gains from here. I get the impression from reading through various reports that the gains during the collagen growth stage are not huge, perhaps 0.25ins ??

I believe that since the first string of progress reports showed significant gains (including my own) after a first round with 20%, that it is only natural for newer patients to have similar expectations, even when knowing that 10% wont create the same kind of yield.
My first round was when 20% was the norm, my second round was when they were tweaking concentrations and were in a transitional period of refining their methodology - so I received 10%, but found little to no gain in my mid shaft, and a fraction of an Inch at the base. Now it's the reverse, where Dr. C recommends 10% the first round and will work with the patient to determine the best concentration for Rounds 2 & on. I know that I'll request 20% for my next session, in hopes to crack 5" EG across the entire shaft.
Brother, I know what euphoria you speak of too. After round 1, my pic shows the swelling and let me tell you, the fullness in my hands was amazing. It has dissipated since, but I'm confident I'll obtain that as the "norm" in due time. The fluctuation in size can be frustrating, but I know that Dr. C & staff are sincerely trying their best to provide the best (aesthetic) result possible.
Hard to say what your final gain will be, but if you opt for 20% the 2nd Round, I suspect you'll notice a considerable increase.

From what I've read, many PMMA patients experience the low point around day 6 to day 10. That said, I believe you'll experience an increase in size in the coming weeks. Don't feel so let down buddy. I also agree with SO on the promise of 20% providing you with significant Girth gains in Round 2. Chin up partner, it ain't over yet.

Day 11Don't get me wrong I'm not completely disappointed. I have definitely gained so far and hoping for a little more. It's just that you get used to the increase in size so quickly that is doesn't seem enough. And since it's a lot smaller than the swollen stage, this effect is exaggerated.
But on the plus side I woke this morning with an Erection and measured at 5.5ins Girth. That's 0.4 ins up on my pre op size. I can't complain at that, it's enough of a gain to notice, and if I can gain say 0.1 or 0.2 over the next few weeks I may reach 5.7ins.
When I consider that 3 years ago my Erect Girth was 4.5ins, I have made considerable progress and slowly getting toward my goal of 6ins.

Long story funnyfarm, but in a nutshell I had scaffold surgery which went wrong due to an immune reaction to the scaffold. I arranged a second surgery to remove the remnants of the scaffold. Following this my penis was considerably smaller than before any surgeries, however after a few months it grew back and actually went on to exceed my original Girth by 0.5 Inch.
