Rek,
I have been using finasteride of about 5 - 6 yrs. I cut the 5 mg tablet into quarters and take 2 or 3 of the quarter tabs /wk. I turned 49 last week. I certainly think it stopped all of my hair thinning that was starting. As for my sex drive - well I guess it is less than 20 - 30 yrs ago but considering work/kids/life stresses I think I am OK.

Propecia will your sex drive almost permanently. FDA approved it years ago and some how they messed up and didn't tell us all the details...
Use Costco foam twice a day every day, it DOES work.

I have been using propecia\finasteride for 3 yrs, stopped all hair loss. Zero side effects. No change in sex drive. My sex drive might have gotten stronger. Did notice my beard grows in a little faster.

PROPECIA for male pattern baldness
9 years 4 months ago #1295035387
During the last 18 months my hairline has receded 1.5 Inch and thinned considerably possibly due to the stress of my procedure.
Has anybody on here had any experience using Propecia / Finnestride for thinning/balding or a receding hairline ?
If so please tell me about your experience
One of the possible side effects is erectile dysfunction, has anyone experienced this?
Also I'd like to know if it has any effect on body hair.
I APPRECIATE THIS IS NOT DIRECTLY Phalloplasty RELATED BUT I DONT THINK ITS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT BECAUSE ONE OF THE SIDE EFFECTS IS ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION.
THANKS.
