It's a size thing, not a material deal.

Immediately after round 1 (after all the swelling), on my return flight, it flagged. When I flew a couple months later, swelling had gone down. No issue.

Then after round 2, it flagged. I've not flown since then, so I'm not sure if I still have enough size to set it off.

The anomaly is a size mass...and getting flagged for it is actually kind of awesome. In my opinion The pat down sucks, and it's an inconvenience, but it certainly validates size gains.

I don't think it is the size, its the denseness of the X ray images, location, shape and so on. I don't think if a guy with a semi hard on would be stopped. On my last session, I was around 8" thick and I went thru San Diego airport with no issues. Swelling is mostly fluids so the X ray goes right thru it...

If there is any wetness anywhere the machine picks it up as an anomaly to be patted down. I've had my crotch show up when it was a bit wet down there. I've also had other areas of the body show up that happened to be a little wet. I'm guessing that after the PMMA session due to after care massaging etc. you must have been moist in that region so the scanner picked it up for secondary pat down.

I get flagged every time but it is because I was born is a country that is listed on the terrorist watchlist, lol, no one has ever given a crap about my dick :-(

lol - hate to break it to you guys but it's probably nothing to do with your penis size or product, its most likely the zip on your pants or jeans - also metal buttons on button up jeans send the machine nuts. Happens to me all the time with particular pants. If you were wearing boardshorts that would be a little stranger.

Same here. It has happened in sweatpants, joggers, jeans, shorts, etc. Even wearing basketball shorts.
Supposedly Jonah Falcon has the same issue when going through security... but that's another story.
I really do not know what it is that sets the machines off, but the theory of something to do with density makes sense.

I think has to do with the dense scar tissue isolated in that one area that sends a signal to the machine that it's not ordinary. I've been stopped every signal time and it's getting quite annoying and embarrassing. Luckily the pat down is pretty quick and painless and they swab your hand for explosives. Adds about 2 minutes extra time. I'm sure the TSA is aware that we have an alteration down there which is embarrassing, especially when TSA women are around .

Agreed, that would make sense. I just know that post-op was when I got flagged before, and once things settled down, no prob. Weird. Awkward as the pat-down may be, I feel worse for the TSA dude. Talk about a shitty job...

@briceb, you were rather large prior to PMMA, did you ever get flagged pre-op? Or was it only after PMMA?

I did get flagged before PMMA, but it wasn't 100% of the time. More like 50/50.

I got stopped wearing jogging shorts returning from round two. I have always been stopped about half the time for my leg that did not heal straight after a bad break. Only the one crotch stop. Must have been the swelling.

I travel a lot domestically and internationally and have been stopped only once for an area around my kidney not lower...I guess I don't have enough PMMA....Will go back for more PMMA sessions then...LOL...

I was wearing sweat pants... no zippers/buttons.

I think it has to with the abnormality of denseness of the scar tissue as Mustang said. It's embarrassing to say the least. It's a thorough pat down and I don't want to do that every time I fly. I wish it was just a size thing. Then it wouldn't be embarrassing. I'm sure some guys with huge natural dicks go through and don't get stopped.

They know we have work done down there. fukkkkkk
