I've read a lot of bad stuff written about lig cut, but frankly, I had mine done 20 years ago and I've never had one problem. No problem in any areas whatsoever. Basically, I gained about half an Inch in length, which for me was worth it at the time. The only thing I would recommend, based on my experience, is to make sure you hang (weights) as long as possible after the procedure. Are you in the USA, if so, what part?

Could any guys who've had their life cut tell me what it's like post surgery. Do you still wake up each morning with an Erection? Is there a sense of loss within oneself when your Erection is not as strong? I've been trying to think about the irreversible effects post lig cuts could have on me and would appreciate any opinions. I've woken up every day with an Erection since a teen, I'd like to think they would still happen post surgery. Thanks.

I was referring to the original post which was asking about losing nocturnal erections etc. after this surgery. I have experienced the "opposite" so far. I was not referring to you or attempting to compare myself to you. I simply shared my situation thus far. Keep in mind this forum is a place for constructive, useful dialogue.

Hi Chester, thanks for your response but could you be more clear? Do you still wake in the morning with an Erection? Is it different from what it was like before surgery? Have you ever stop, think and say what was I doing to myself when it could.no longer point vertically?

Erections are very painful for like a week after. I recommend getting meds that prevent nocturnal erections, otherwise you will wake up in pain. I've had ligs cut twice. First time without those meds, and it was extremely painful. The second time I had the meds, and it only hurt a couple of times. To directly answer your question though, you still get erections in the a.m. if you had morning wood before. It isn't going to restore that magic if you weren't having morning wood though.

Joe, it's like I said before. There's absolutely no difference at all. I feel exactly the same now as I did 20 years ago. Zero difference. Except bigger.

So i am a newbee to all this but this about cutting that top ligament correct? Id love more info where can i start? Im not even sure about the name of this lig cutting? Also are there great docs who can do this in cali? Id like to see about PMMA as well as lig cutt....

No prob, LL. Just misread your post. My comment stands for all viewing this topic. Once you get this done, you won't notice any difference after everything is healed, except for the longer size. Just make sure you hang a nice long time.

Ches, I figured that's what happened. Your quote seems right on the money from speaking with members who've had it. But I would also add that the only thing I was warned against (by members and Dr. Rosenthal) is the Y,V incision, which can be more problematic.

I'm 4 days out an quite honestly I have experienced the opposite so far. I am getting very frequent nocturnal erections which are very strong. Nights 1 and 2 they were painful, now they are completely fine without pain. I am in the process of constructing a very detailed progress report with pictures and helpful information. Basically information I wish I had before I went into this. On another note I spoke with Dr. Rosenthal the day after my surgery because the erections basically kept me from sleeping the night after my surgery. He said he no longer prescribes medication (the name escapes me) because there were studies done that showed it can actually lead to impotence!!
