TOPIC: Kenalog

Has anyone self injected or gone through this scar removing process? I am about to begin, nervous as hell and seeking advice.

The incision line is slightly raised in the middle for about 1.5" but the point at which I am being told to inject is where my penis meets the pubescent area. That is the part that has the 2" hard knot and pulls out when Erect. If I didn't know any better it looks and feels like I've grown an extra penile shaft on the top of my penis.

Instructions talk about injecting in the scar but I was told to go directly for the 2" knot on the top of my shaft. Should I also inject some into my incision line? The scar there is very obvious and gross.

When I had that bump on the right side of my penis ... I called Dr C and Wade, and was instructed to inject 20cc interleasonly.

Does that sound extreme?

I'm probably going to get some Kenalog in a few months if this bump doesn't go away in my scrotum ... seems to be the same as it was a month ago... I hope its not PMMA thats moved due to my surgery.

Would taking an HGH supplement help speed things up or would that make things worse?

I requested the shot. There is a huge 2" scar tissue formation on the top of my shaft making my member appear 2" shorter than it is. Side measurement from top is actually nearly 2.5" difference.

I will be taking anti-flamatory enzymes and sticking myself with 1cc of Kenalog every 4 weeks very shortly. I'll make sure it goes deep, thanks for the warming.

Lastime did. I believe Dr Elist gave him a prescription. I asked my Dr for one and he thought I was joking. Lastime doesn't post here anymore and hasn't logged on for a long time. But you need to be very careful as the shaft skin is naturally thin. Make sure you inject deeper and only into the scar tissue.

Hey Microphoncheck, I'm getting ready to take Serracor-NK enzymes as well. Has that stuff been helping any? I have the same issue going on and it's pissing me off lol I'm only 15 days post op but that big knot/ whatever you call it, is killing me lol

yeah I'm now contemplating Kenalog again Dark too, so i'm also wondering if 20cc would be considered extreme?..ive got some pretty big hard obvious deformed lumps and something has to be done..hoping it will soften..but it seems like a lot of bump to have to go down.

I swear it's getting worse as time progresses... I'll give it 2 months total but if it doesn't get better by then I'm going to see yet another doctor. All this money, time and effort just to regain what I originally had. What a crying shame....

Do you mean the bottom of your shaft? Previously I thought you were describing scarring further up the shaft. But you mention the incision, so it sounds more like you are talking about scarring at the base. This isn't rare and can cause retraction. Is the scar tissue at the incision line raised and thick? Isn't the knot itself scar tissue? Can you post a photo of the area?

Really you should double check with your Dr.

The only place I've had Kenalog injected was on an extremely thick y/v incision. It was done in very small amounts into the scar tissue. It's very important to not inject the skin itself as it's thin. Kenalog can cause Atrophy.

Too soon to tell at this point. I've been taking the enzymes along with the single 1cc of Kenalog since last week. From what I've read you start to see the effects of the shot 2-4 weeks after injection. As for the enzymes, no effect one way or the other as of yet. Hoping for the best but also trying to be patient and not overdo it.

For the pills to be effective we have to take 6 of them a day (2 pills 3x a day) and as describe try to take them without food, in between meals.

I was instructed to only pump 1ml/cc in and wait 4 weeks and my knot is fairly large (about 2"). Pumped 0.2cc in 5 different angles hoping for best results/spread and was told absolutely no manipulation for 24 hours.

Just performed the first injection, I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Also taking Serracor-NK enzymes 3x a day to assist with the scar tissue breakdown.
