It depends, how much drinking are you talking about? I had a glass of wine a few hours after my procedures, I do not believe there were any bad side effects. Also, Collagen builds slowly and takes a while to really form around the beads. Nevertheless, too much alcohol is bad for you period....

had the phallo AlloDerm surgery a week ago.
had some bleeding from the airplane ride home
the swelling is down. my Balls feel like jello the area is big. I had a beer last night, hope that didn't hurt anything? oops

A few drinks is NOT going to have great influence on the outcome or collagen deposition. Everyone's autoimmune response is different. According to the Metacrill studies, in Wistar rats the collagen begins roughly 2 weeks post implantation and continues for up to 2 months. I'm no rat though.

Nah...One beer with about 4-6% alcohol is not worse that some cold meds that have way more alcohol in them....

Hey all,

Whats everyones thoughts about drinking alcohol after having a round of PMMA?..I'm 16 days post op and I want to have some drinks tomorrow night..I know its bad for collagen, but I don't plan on drinking too much, anyone noticed negative side effects?
