Lets remember that one thing is to be skeptical, one other thing is to be judgemental. If Megadong claims he gained 1.5 inches EL after having the Elist implant, it is of course possible he did, or that he didnt measure it properly and thinks he gained 1.5 inches and may have gained a little less. This is not an exact science. I myself am not sure if I have gained almost two inches with PE or it could be that I gained much less, maybe an Inch, because my measurement skills have improved over time and I might not have done it properly at first. Somewhere else I read Elist does cut a bit of the ligaments when inserting the implant to allow space for it. There are many things that may have happened. Judging Megadong as an Elist Envoy for this 1.5 Inch gain claim will not do much for our growth here.

Firstly, the reason I requested pictures from "Megadong" is because in his second post (dated) Oct. 19th), he offered to show pictures...He also said that he was going to tell his "story". I was hoping for a more thorough account, but then again, I realize we can all get busy (myself included). This is neither here not there though because I think there is the possibility that Megadong's claim of a successful implant may (in fact) be true. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, and I'm sure Dr. Elist does have his successes. I did take issue with his claim that the Elist success stories far outweigh the failures. Any member who was on the old MNS board and old PhalloBoards, and is now on the current PhalloBoards, is aware of the criminally poor track record (or at least particular 'horrific' cases) of this implant. And you are indeed correct; I've yet to post a picture of my penis on this website. But I'm really not sure how posting a picture of my penis would strengthen (or weaken) my position as far as this particular thread goes. True, I am an advocate of PMMA, but a rather low key one. I had the procedure done in early august and actually waited two months before I even told the board. I got a relatively modest (compared to some other members) gain of half an Inch. The reason I have chosen not to wave the flag of PMMA too enthusiastically is because, although, I truly believe that PMMA may very well be the `magic bullet` we have been waiting for, I am aware of the fact that there may be some hidden dangers with PMMA that may come to light down the road. It will take years before we can be at all certain. Perhaps my position on this thread could be best characterized as `anti-implant`. I will absolutely admit that one of my agendas on PhalloBoards is to spread the truth about the dangers of the implant. This is not out of 'spite' for Doctor Elist, but rather to prevent others from suffering from the same fate as myself and others (many of them members on this site). I have also been very honest with the fact that I actually was able to regain my lost length (one of the only patients I know of) and retained about a ' Inch gain from the remaining capsule of the implant.?This relatively happy ending of mine, I believe, should in no way minimize the horrific (apparently permanent) outcomes of many other Elist patients. I have been very forthcoming with my story and that of the other Elist patients I have had contact with. I have to say that I am baffled by any guy considering the implant (over PMMA) after they've had access to any of the negative implant stories floating around the Internet. Admittedly, PMMA still has unknowns attached to it, but its track record has been exceptional thus far, and any complications are very manageable. On the other hand, the implant's complication rate is shockingly high'Yes, I realize this rate is based on anecdotal evidence, but that's because the only person with the actual stats (if he keeps them at all) is DR. Elist. And just as recently as last year (last time I checked) he was touting a laughable less than 1% complication rate. If I had the info about the possible complications of the implant that I do now, I would never have even considered it for a second. Lord only knows how many men have been permanently damaged from this procedure... Sorry to have digressed... Again, I'm not sure how showing a picture of my penis would give my argument anymore credibility. Are you skeptical of my claim that I had the implant, and then had it removed due to infection? Do you wish to see a picture of my penis damaged by the implant?. Or are you skeptical of my claims of penile enlargement over the years? If this is the case, then I don't see how it has any connection to my credibility in this thread. Do you wish me to prove that I have indeed undergone years of PE and show you a picture of my enlarged penis?That (all) being said, I did say in my 'Messageman Got PMMA' thread that I would post pictures. In addition the procedure is fucking painful as hell.I quizzed Dr Elist yesterday on why the implant was in that area and said this was normal, asked me if I had had sex and I replied it was impossible as the implant was restricting my penis to rise....his reaction was silence followed by OH and he proceeded to say just keep milking its going to be a few months before its there. Fucking few months I was boiling when he said that. I am now considering to have it removed. I am going to give it a few more weeks and then I will make my decision. Who ever reads this post please really really consider your options. Like you messageman I went into this blinkered because this dilemma we are all in(Penis size) has been with me since junior school over 35 years so nothing was going to stop me. Having said that if I had found this site before my Op I may have been swayed off having the procedure.I am so fortunate I have a very loving and caring wife but If I have the reversal and It goes tits-up I am not sure if my marriage will last and to be honest I wouldn't blame her if she decided to leave. Hi Megadong Just curios: Have you ever had your implant updated (taken out and had a newer model put in)?Was your ' Inch gain in Erect length achieved right after the surgery? If not, how long did it take?Before you had the implant put in, did you do any research on the web (for example, MYNEWSIZE) about the procedure? How did your friend find out about the implant?Your measurements are 7.5 inches in length X 81/4 inches in Girth? Is this correct?Thanks, Messageman

I had the implant put in back in June of 2007, I just got out of the military and one of the guys in my unit had it put in... So I decided to do the same thing. I am sure you are all wondering what my results were so I will not keep you in suspense. I went from 6 long and 6 in Girth (Erect) to 7 1/2 long and 8 1/4 inches Erect. So I gained and Inch and a half of length and 2 and a 1/4 inches of Girth. The biggest increase was in the soft state though. I used to be a Grower, but not any more. I am not 6x6 when I am soft. It could be 10 degrees outside and I would still be that big. That's what I love about the implant. It makes you big all the time. As far as I know I have the XL implant. I am not sure if it is one or 2 pieces. I would have to call the doc and find out.

Sorry about that'You make some very good points and provide food for thoughtHowever, I will say again , although my sample size is small (Pre and post stats), the implant has a very poor track record. I guess I do feel passionate about the implant, but that's simply because I've seen the devestation the implant has caused. Messageman

I've also got to say i find you length claims extremely hard to believe. I've seen videos of Dr Elist putting the implant in and he cuts it to a length similar to someone's Erection. I can't see how the implant itself can grow, so how can the actual penis get longer? If the implant is 6" long and the penis is 6" long, what happens if the real penis was to actually grow by an Inch"? I know Elist says he puts more implant in to accomodate length gains, but we can see from the video of him doing the surgery that this isn't true and no Dr would ever contamplate putting the silicone strips deep under the pubic bone, so he couldn't do that anyway. Also the capsule formed around the implant would make length gains incredibly tough, hence most who have the implant removed struggle to regaint he length they lose. Scar tissue just isn't very pliable, ask anyone who has had Peyronies desease.

Those who gain using extenders need to increase the length of rods and tension over time. It's advised to start with the rods at a length of 4 cm less the stretched Flaccid. Yet surely that is a similar length to which the implant would make a guy, only without the tension of springs. Guys wearing extenders are only suppossed to start at such minimal tension to get used to wearing it, in the coming weeks the tension and length of rods is greatly increased. I can't see how the tension would be sufficient to enduse growth. The weight of the implant can't be anywhere near enough to cause length gains that way either. I'm sorry but the whole idea of gaining length by simply having the implant inserted just isn't believable. Basically what you are claiming is that by inserting a pliable silicone implant, that weighs very little and has less length than one's Flaccid stretched length, yet is pliable and we know encourages scar tissue to build up. It makes no sense at all. Do you have measured before and and after photos?

I'm still waiting on the before and after pics... And waiting... And waiting... And... Awww ... I give up.

No regrets really- but I don't view it as the perfect procedure, nor do I view it as a permanent solution. I think it has it's own 'half-life'. I've had it seven years- that would be a good run for a pair of shoes wouldn't it? I want to avoid the whole surgical aspect moving forward. PMMA is more... cosmetic and less invasive.

I have never met a girl that could not take my Girth. In regards to retraction, I did not experience any at all. Although for the first few weeks after the surgery I was not able to get a full Erection. This may be considered retraction by some, but I just think its part of the healing process. As soon as I was all healed up I was right back to normal, then within a month I had gained length.

My Dick looks bigger than that and im no where near 8.25 Erect Girth. Your telling a bald face LIE!!! And your penis looks very short flacid. It can only grow but so big Erect. I suspect a elist SHILL here. At least make it sound real.... lol

Thanks tony- Most have had very poor medical results with Elist, and some with poor service. A few have had other procedures (like testicular implants) that have (so far) been successful.

It would be more appropriate if you shared your experience so others can learn from it. Simply bashing the doctor for the sake of bashing him is not what this forum is about. He's already earned whatever reputation he has through first-hand accounts, backed up credibly with photos, etc. You can follow suit, otherwise I'm advising you no longer post in this fashion.
