14 years 9 months ago #1270701261Edit: just read your post lasttime... yessir... FDA is all abut the money.. watch the Burzynski movie... it's on netflix if anybody has it... you'll see how it's all about the money vs people dying from cancer in that movie. So why would they care about the health of our penis?

Re: Dr Elist...
14 years 9 months ago #1270766286I had the implant replaced for a larger size back in June 2010. That is the current implant that I have now. I gained and Inch and a half after the surgery, not 3/4 of an Inch.
It took me almost 3 months to achieve that increase in Erect length. The soft length was immediate. I did not research on line at all before the procedure. I found out about the doctor through my friend that had the surgery.
Yes my measurements are 7.5 x 8 1/4

14 years 9 months ago #1270775003I too agree with Rondo about you publishing your story. I was up last night 01:30 BST searching on the site for some answers and came across your journal.......it was just the relief I needed with all the worry and shite going through my mind at the moment with my recent implant. I saw you on chat but by the time I finished you had gone. It took my mind of my problems so much I was putting the cast together for the film......fuck the book:-))) I'd have Ben Stiller playing you and the Dad from cheaper by the dozen and American pie to play the Doc (sorry not sure of his name).....cant think of a big actress for Barbera yet.But to reiterate it gave me some relief for the worry I am going through with my implant so thank you for posting!!I am about 7 weeks into post-op and well this haven't gone to plan so far. I chatted with Bostonman5555 to see if his implant had gone similar to mine. You see I had the XL put in, and not by choice this is what I was advised and to date I still have about a third of the implant up in my pubic area spread right across the incision.I have been instructed for the next two weeks to "milk" and "stretch" the penis to try and pull the implant down. I have been doing this for the past five days and see absolutely no movement there at all. BM5555 seems to think I may have cohesion with the implant and my skin. In addition the procedure is fucking painful as hell.I quizzed Dr Elist yesterday on why the implant was in that area and said this was normal, asked me if I had had sex and I replied it was impossible as the implant was restricting my penis to rise....his reaction was silence followed by OH and he proceeded to say just keep milking its going to be a few months before its there. Fucking few months I was boiling when he said that. I am now considering to have it removed. I am going to give it a few more weeks and then I will make my decision. Who ever reads this post please really really consider your options. Like you messageman I went into this blinkered because this dilemma we are all in(Penis size) has been with me since junior school over 35 years so nothing was going to stop me. Having said that if I had found this site before my Op I may have been swayed off having the procedure.I am so fortunate I have a very loving and caring wife but If I have the reversal and It goes tits-up I am not sure if my marriage will last and to be honest I wouldn't blame her if she decided to leave. I live in hope yet again. If the site will allow it I will post a very short(excuse the pun) video of my implant...by the way lumpy implant if not I will post some images.Take care all and speak to you soon

Re: Dr Elist...
14 years 9 months ago #1270707686But it's not a handful of messageboard of the percentage of posters who have detailed their accounts from before surgery. If it were just a small percentage then this would surely have been reflected with just a small perecentage of messageboard posters, but right from the start posters on the old MNS were having problems (which when posted were usually quickly deleted.) If these were guys who just came along and announced they had issue's then it would be different, but these are guys who announced they were considering the surgery, then had it and then ran into problems. Also both Miro Djordevic and Rados Djinovic (who hate each other and have no reason to supports each others story) seperately confirmed that they had to remove all but one of the implants when Elist trialed it in Serbia.megadong wrote: Let me just say that I am not defending anyone, the Dr included. I think that you all need to realize that the vast majority of people that have successful surgeries are not going to create profiles online to talk about it. The Dr claims to have performed over 1000 of these surgeries. As far as I can tell there are only a hand full of you that have had any issues......
I bet the vast majority of posters here that have had problems with the implant had messagboard profiles before they had problems.

Firstly, the reason I requested pictures from "Megadong" is because in his second post (dated) Oct. 19th), he offered to show pictures...He also said that he was going to tell his "story". I was hoping for a more thorough account, but then again, I realize we can all get busy (myself included). This is neither here not there though because I think there is the possibility that Megadong's claim of a successful implant may (in fact) be true. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, and I'm sure Dr. Elist does have his successes. I did take issue with his claim that the Elist success stories far outweigh the failures. Any member who was on the old MNS board and old PhalloBoards, and is now on the current PhalloBoards, is aware of the criminally poor track record (or at least particular 'horrific' cases) of this implant. And you are indeed correct; I've yet to post a picture of my penis on this website. But I'm really not sure how posting a picture of my penis would strengthen (or weaken) my position as far as this particular thread goes. True, I am an advocate of PMMA, but a rather low key one. I had the procedure done in early august and actually waited two months before I even told the board. I got a relatively modest (compared to some other members) gain of half an Inch. The reason I have chosen not to wave the flag of PMMA too enthusiastically is because, although, I truly believe that PMMA may very well be the `magic bullet` we have been waiting for, I am aware of the fact that there may be some hidden dangers with PMMA that may come to light down the road. It will take years before we can be at all certain. Perhaps my position on this thread could be best characterized as `anti-implant`. I will absolutely admit that one of my agendas on PhalloBoards is to spread the truth about the dangers of the implant. This is not out of 'spite' for Doctor Elist, but rather to prevent others from suffering from the same fate as myself and others (many of them members on this site). I have also been very honest with the fact that I actually was able to regain my lost length (one of the only patients I know of) and retained about a ' Inch gain from the remaining capsule of the implant.?This relatively happy ending of mine, I believe, should in no way minimize the horrific (apparently permanent) outcomes of many other Elist patients. I have been very forthcoming with my story and that of the other Elist patients I have had contact with. I have to say that I am baffled by any guy considering the implant (over PMMA) after they've had access to any of the negative implant stories floating around the Internet. Admittedly, PMMA still has unknowns attached to it, but its track record has been exceptional thus far, and any complications are very manageable. On the other hand, the implant's complication rate is shockingly high'Yes, I realize this rate is based on anecdotal evidence, but that's because the only person with the actual stats (if he keeps them at all) is DR. Elist. And just as recently as last year (last time I checked) he was touting a laughable less than 1% complication rate. If I had the info about the possible complications of the implant that I do now, I would never have even considered it for a second. Lord only knows how many men have been permanently damaged from this procedure... Sorry to have digressed... Again, I'm not sure how showing a picture of my penis would give my argument anymore credibility. Are you skeptical of my claim that I had the implant, and then had it removed due to infection? Do you wish to see a picture of my penis damaged by the implant?. Or are you skeptical of my claims of penile enlargement over the years? If this is the case, then I don't see how it has any connection to my credibility in this thread. Do you wish me to prove that I have indeed undergone years of PE and show you a picture of my enlarged penis? That (all) being said, I did say in my 'Messageman Got PMMA' thread that I would post pictures. I've been intending too but just haven't gotten around to it'So I promise to do so by the weekend. And Rondo, I realize that your request for pictures comes from a good place and is based on your desire to educate not only yourself, but also others on this site'You are an asset to this site and I enjoy reading your posts'. A short video upload would be just fine. Just be sure it is strictly a video of your penis to demonstrate the appearance of the implant. Thanksnueknob wrote: Hi Messageman,

14 years 9 months ago #1270781688You said you had alloderm? what happened? Did it absorb?' The Alloderm has atrophied somewhat and become somewhat 'strappy'. It's still viable and will allegedly form a good foundation for the PMMA. No regrets really- but I don't view it as the perfect procedure, nor do I view it as a permanent solution. I think it has it's own 'half-life'. I've had it seven years- that would be a good run for a pair of shoes wouldn't it? I want to avoid the whole surgical aspect moving forward. PMMA is more... cosmetic and less invasive.
