I have read previous posts, where it was said PMMA doesn't have the same effects of inflammation that it has on the face, very biased opinions, but it has become clear that PMMA has the same effect on some people penises, as it does on some peoples face. I wonder what happens when someone gets an inflamed penis head (granuloma), because you can't de-gloved the head of the penis..... to remove the PMMA. PMMA does have excellent result with people with HIV only because their immune systems are weaker, so less likely to attack the PMMA. I advise caution to anyone who will get this penis head procedure in the future. I am still sitting on the fence, when it comes to PMMA, maybe one day.

I have asked Lemperle's opinion about Dr. A.El-seweifi's Artecoll injection results :-

I know some people wouldn't agree with Lemperle but I just want you to know all the information I get .
I have also sent an e-mail to Dr.Samy Passy in Rio. about the Korean paper and also about the doctor in Berlin , I just want to know his opinion too.
I would like to know what is Dr.C.'s opinion about these informations (in Korea and in Berlin) ---> no serious complication ???
Did he ever try it ? Did he inject e.g. a very small amount of Newplastic in a small area of the corona???

Yes, if I recall it was not PMMA that was used in this technique. But I thought Dr C said the product did have a small amount of PMMA in it. And Lipen does sound familiar so I believe it must be Lipen-P. But he did say that is does go away over time. Sorry, I can't be certain, at the time it was all new to me.

I have sent an e-mail to Lemperle about this doctor's technique in using Artecoll for the Glans and that was his reply :-
I know Dr. El-Seweifi well - but never met him in person, because I asked him some 10 years ago to publish his method of wrapping a non-absorbable net (mesh) around the penis in my book on Aestetische Chirurgie (aesthetic surgery). Concerning a glans augmentation, my feeling is to augment the corona only to make it fit to the shaft. This can be done by Artecoll, as it has been done with a temporary fillers before , but it must be applied very superficially - because the rest of the glans is a spongy tissues , where you may get intravascular and may inject it into the blood stream. However, Artecoll is not anymore on the market since the Chinese bought the factory EMCM in Nijmegen, Holland. Dr. El-Seweifi could buy the Artecoll directly from EMCM, as I know. Best, Gottfried

We started clinical trials of Glans enhancement using Lipen D to get approval from Korea FDA. It is go along under management of KFDA.
I think non-biodegradable PMMA materials is not suitable on glans enhancement even if there is previous successful experiences.

Since the target area of injection is connected right with Corpus Spongiosum without anatomical septum , I suggest it will not necessarily be safe even though the particle size of PMMA 100 micon.*And cross linked Dextran could be long-lasted in the human body, it remains stable within the collagen tissue capsule at any cost, and if there is no tissue capsule, it biodegrades. I have many successful experiences about it.

So, they can't do the procedure until registered right? So we're looking at least a year out? I live right next to Korea, I wish there was more information available in english.

Do we know what specific technique they're going to learn? Is it the R stuff/PMMA combo procedure? It just seemed like none of the available Korean techniques were that great, so I'm wondering if we should really be that excited.

I had my glands done with DR. L in Miami. it lasted about two weeks along with everything else he did. No problems it just didn't last. I will be going to Dr. C in a few weeks I am going to try to talk him into doing my glands.

My understanding is that they have gone and are almost certainly still in the Korean peninsula.

From what I understand, it isn't exactly PMMA that might be used for the glans but another compound without PMMA developed in South Korea. This must be of course confirmed, but from what I gathered about Dr Cho's procedure in Seoul, it is a form of Lippen without PMMA which is used for the glans (Lippen "D" for Dextran).

Once Dr C has returned from his travels and taken in the know-how from his colleague, we may learn more. I am certain all this will be transparent and quite clear prior to anyone being offered this procedure at Dr C's clinic. It is a promising procedure, especially for those with small glans and prone to serious retraction inside a PMMA enhanced shaft. For others, it is merely an aesthetic consideration which may help sculpt them the ideal unit...

This isn't quite the good news I and others here had hoped for! At least there is some progress in glans enhancement research and applications. Two things irk me about Lipen-


- cost: roughly $4000 to $5000 for 4 tiny shots in the glans during a brief outpatient procedure. This product is outrageously priced, even if the research, patenting and clinic time is included. One milliliter is a very small quantity. He also is quoting the amount of product meant to enhance a Korean, when it is rather well known that in the ethnic distribution of penis size, they are at the lower end of the spectrum. We can assume that we might need between 10 and 15 milliliters, which could make the cost skyrocket. That is a heavy budget for a small portion of our anatomy, especially as this isn't a one time only procedure?


- permanence: it only lasts 2 years? So this is just another resorbable filler which at least works without flowering or adverse reactions? That is a long way from a permanent solution such as PMMA. I hope that one day they shall find a way to permanently enhance this part of our anatomy. There must be some material which can be used similarly without serious health or aesthetic risks. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD...


I had understood that they had come up with a breakthrough, but the PMMA breakthrough for shaft girth enhancement may have led to excessive expectations among us. Actually, clinical dextran isn't as expensive as one might think. Non clinical is rather cheap when compared to the prices charged, plus the clinical cannot correspond really to what is billed when you consider that it is supplied in quantities from 100 grams per unit and as high as 50 kilograms of powder in a single package (as large as a cement bag). Let's hope such high pricing at the only clinic in the world offering this procedure doesn't lead the daredevils among us to inject themselves !

Quite well observed Mustang. However, at least there will be a matching shaft and glans size. What won't look natural is the narrow section between them. Maybe it can be stretched to look more natural without surgical intervention to widen the Circumcision ring? Until they decode the Penis Gene in our DNA and tweak it with a pill to become whatever shape and size we desire, we are stuck trying to get multiple techniques to more or less converge. Aesthetics are hard to reach when you have technical limits and dimensional targets.

Regarding glans enhancement, I am sure we would all be happy to learn more about this procedure especially if it can be offered in South Korea. I for one am ready to book a flight in September and volunteer as a PhalloBoards front runner. With serious disproportion between shaft and glans plus a Turtling issue when retracting, I am a prime candidate for this procedure.
