TOPIC: Bleeding after HA injections

Hi All,
On my way home from an appointment w/ Dr Carney yesterday(writing from the airport). Received 8 syringes(9.6 ml )HA as a touchup for 15 last summer at another provider.
I was told to remove the wrap last night but noticed some oozing from one injection site(near the circ scar). I ordered some extra gauze,neosporin etc from Instacart and also put a small bandaid on it and went to bed.
This am just cleaned with alcohol and left be. Oozing seemed to stop.
Noticed some wetness down there while walking around ATL airport so ran into the bathroom and put a bandaid on. Tried calling the office but only scheduling people available. Didn’t have any issues with my first 15 via cannula. Any tips from anyone who may have had anything similar? It’s been about 28 hours. At what point should I be concerned?

Leakage from the entry points (i.e. injection sites) is not unusual and can continue to occur until they are fully healed. It took me 72 hours before I typically had mine finally stop, and the rate at which you heal varies person-to-person.

Just continue following the post-op protocol, everything you described thus far does not sound alarming, in fact it sounds normal and part of the post-op recovery phase.
