There are loads of reports of guys having lig surgery or grafts through the scrotum and the scar is barely noticeable 6 months later. Obviously there is no such things a "good" place to have a Nodule, but if there were, where yours is, would be it, other than near to the circ scar line. Please keep us informed about your surgery with Dr Reed, if you decide to go ahead, even minor details. We've got loads of progress reports from guys having PMMA, but few of guys having lumps removed. Restoration gave a detailed log, but I think his original Dermatologist made a mess of things, so it would be good to see a detailed account of a lump being removed by a well respected Urologist. I am not sure how long it took to disappear but it is gone completely - 100%. It must be because the skin is so thin in that area. I have Mediterranean skin and tend to scar too. FYI there is always an initial shock when you come out of a procedure with any scarring/Sutures on your Dick or Balls - but it becomes normal quickly, and heals fast. I agree with Hoddle, that is the best possible place to have surgery. Very few people are going to inspect the underside of your Balls anyway, even if you have loads of sex - its generally not a place people pause to contemplate I don't see how you would have a scar there after a few months based on my experience. Really? I've found it near impossible to find progress reports or pictures of a healed scrotum, post lig surgery. The only things I've heard are similar to hunkydory, where people say it's hard to see, etc., but at the same time a lot of people with traditional lig cuts say the same about their pubic scars - although with pictures - and I disagree with a lot of their definitions of "hard to see.'' Not saying the scrotum scars don't heal better or more inconspicuously, but I've tried searching for post-care pics of such operations and couldn't find any. Are the reports you reference, ones with pictures? If so, I'd be interested to see. My Dick, where they took out the grafts has some scarring on it, however. From what I can tell there are 2 types of lig. cut procedures - the VY cut, and the one I have which is about a 1.5" horizontal scar where your pubes are. I had it done in 1997 and no one has ever asked if it was a scar or noticed from what I can tell - and it has been eye level with a lot of people. It's just a very faint line that unless you shave down there you don't see at all. It was also done 20 years ago, so.. Most of the pics online are new post-surgical pics. There is a guy on here Sayrusx, or something like that, who had the kind I had and his looks really good for a newly done procedure. Add a year of healing time to that it it would be very undetectable. But, if you get your skin cut open - rule of thumb is that you will have a scar of some sort generally. I think if you can't handle that possibility, the only surgery I would have is nonelective. Another option is going back to Dr. C for a SUPER CONSERVATIVE microdroplet approach where he fills in below the mass and to its right w. micro droplets therefore its not as lumpy as PMMA but still fixes the feeling and appearance of the mass. In other words, instead of removing it, id be filling in around it to cover its feel and appearance. I also know that if I have it removed ill need to go back to Dr C anyway to fill it back it w less invasive micro droplets. So 2 procedures. I know this because originally, before the mass, there was a major uneven feeling in this area when I jerked off. This is why I had dr c put some PMMA there but he did a shitty jog and left me with the above image. At this time I think its best for me to "close the area up" and hopefully forget about it. I had the most awful looking scars in the pubic area from the lig cut. As some have suggested, Revision work with Dr. C (be it breaking up the lump, and/or silicone droplets) would have considerably more pros than cons: less invasive, likely less costly, likely less chance for complication (versus the invasive route), and ultimately at the hands of a physician who's most familiar with the problem area. And if you decide on Removal, it wouldn't hurt to ask Dr. C if he'd perform it given his knowledge of the problem area. I'm not sure if he's performed removals of that size, only punch incisions for small nodules.
