Re: PMMA by Dr. Casavantes: DingDong's Log
12 years 2 months ago #1282740199scheduled procedure with Dr. C on 4/30/14. trip to SD/TJ was uneventful and is now familiar to the point there is nothing worth commenting about. Procedure was set for 11am and lasted about 2.5 hours from point of discussing goals to wrapping up (no pun intended). Wade, Dr. C, and I discussed my 3 objectives for this procedure: eliminate ridge behind glans, gain symmetry along shaft, increase size at base (eliminate the hour glass shape and get to natural tapering look). Dr. C marked up my penis so he would know where he wanted to fill and then numbed up the area - again, no pain with injection. Dr. C. applied 10% solution at the CS and then 30% at the base and all looked great when complete. Wade used a rubber sleave this time vs. wrapping and the sleave seemed to hold the shape pretty well but did not seem to manage the leakage as well as the guaze/tape. The trip back was fairly uneventful but longer than expected because the border is under reconstruction so they are only operating ~9 lanes so it took a couple of hours. However, i got to try a taco cart on 3rd street that makes the most amazing cameron tacos...highly recommend as these tacos alone were worth the trip (paid $10 for 7 tacos). This stand is vendorized and has been there for +20 years - very safe.
now for the recovery. I had leakage for 5 days which was a little concerning given past 2 rounds I didn't experience much leakage and was able to have sex at 5 days. Leakage stopped day 6, and all wounds healed. day 7-8, the water absorption appeared to be completing as I lost some size and could start to really feel the PMMA. At this time, there were 12 nodules that were prominent and I did my best to press them out for about 1 week, which I was able to get 3 nodules to disappear. I talked to Wade and was instructed to pinch to point of pain and then give it more which I have been doing throughout the second week but not seeing much reduction at this point. I am continuing to pinch until clear fluid comes through the skin above the Nodule. Did I mention this is very very painful - it is!
At 9 days, my wife and I wanted to take it for a test ride. though everything functioned correctly, she does not like the results. specifically, the Girth is a little much for her, as she liked it best at 6.5" (Girth now is around 7.25", and has been at 7.5" at midsection). The nodules and lumps are not natural and feel strange, to the point that oral is out. The Girth is a little much aesthetically given the Girth and length are about the same now. The nodules are painful for me and disruptive during sex. Anyone else dealing with nodules like this? Did you find success in eliminating, and if so how?
so, now that I am this far down the path a thought that might be helpful to those considering a procedure. With each procedure, there were some imperfections (lumps, nodules, shaping issues) and with each procedure, some are fixed while others are introduced. I didn't really consider this and had in my mind that I would have a very symmetrical, lump free, natural feeling penis - not exactly what I have today, and am about out of capacity to take on any more PMMA. Looking back, I would have discussed this with Wade and Dr. C to set my expectations and insure I stopped pumping volume with some headroom for 'fix-it' sessions. Here are some pics of round 3

I think we were just a few days apart, except I was doing R1. The entry point nodules are painful (at 2 weeks) and disruptive during sex...it even hurt in 1 spot during oral sex. I should probably wait longer... but the entry point nodules have increased since they first appeared a few days ago. Some people say they flatten out - and DancesWithDragons did his own surgery on them.
Did you have these during your earlier sessions? What ever happened with them? I really want to get rid of them because they could be misinterpreted as an STD (I am single) and they hurt a lot if there's pressure applied to them.
I'm not sure how I will get rid of them or if they will go away... I just emailed Wade about them today. Earlier, he told me to squeeze them w/ some pressure - and it might hurt - but that would work. It sorta worked - and it definitely hurt - but they always seem to want to come back. I don't think I will be able to find a doctor here who will look at this & take out the lumps - and I can't do the self-surgery that DWD did bc I will probably make it worse.
From what I understand, you can easily take out entry point nodules...it's the ones that form later (if they form later) that are more complicated.

12 years 2 months ago #1282759173I had a few hard spots form that Dr. C. easily broke up with subsequent rounds so, i didn't have anything that couldn't be fixed. though each time it was 'fixed', more PMMA was being injected. I do not want anymore PMMA so, I will be sure to report back what can be done without adding material.
Good luck and keep us posted - don't be shy with the pics, i know i am glad i took and shared them with the forum - cool to look back at them. i am about to post a progression of pics from pre procedure and each round.

Re: PMMA by Dr. Casavantes: DingDong's Log
12 years 2 months ago #1282761098I got a couple questions about the nodules and request for pics. First pic is what the Nodule looks like. it is the lump about the size of a bb.
This next photo is after applying some squeeze/pinch pressure on either side of the Nodule. the bright spot is the reflection of the clear liquid that comes through the skin at the head of the Nodule.
the last shot is depicts a creamy substance that appears to be the Nodule. it is not hard in texture and more of a milky/paste consistency. I have to apply a lot of pressure to get this material to break the skin as shown here. This is a very painful process that has reduced several of the nodules while 3 of the nodules it doesn't seem to have an effect on yet. I attempted to shoot some video of the process but, not able to squeeze/pinch and keep focus well enough so, pics and description is about as best i can do right now.
I'll post more later. Anyone else dealt with this and have any tips/tricks? I am hoping to hear back from Wade for recommendations and will share my plan of action.

I had 27 ccs of 10% on my first round. I haven't gone back yet for another round or to remove the nodules since I am only on week 2. He just said to monitor it for now, and come back if i need to and they will remove them. I wasn't planing to come back until August- but I don't want to have these things because people might mistake them for genital warts...so I may be back there sooner. I just wanted a more stable outcome before going back for more pmma.
I just read you wrote " After 24cc of 10% METACRILL and a little over an hour," - wow! You gained a whole full inch of girth from 10%? How far after the procedure is your pic taken? I am up 1/2" now with 27cc 10% and 6" EL... but only week two...and I think it's still swelling because I can squeeze my flaccid and make most of it go away. So, I'm trying to figure out when all of this is final. I know week 6 is what most people say, but it can change after that too.
We were also discussing these nodules here:
phalloboards.websitetoolbox.com/post/ear...91704#post1282691704
And in this thread, there's a link to another thread that talks about how Dances With Dragons removed them himself with a needle and tweezers. I am not squeezing them anymore because it hurt too much and seemed to aggravate the situation. And at 2 weeks post, Wade thought it might not really make a difference to squeeze them. Are your entry points still open? Maybe you'll be able to get them out. The white stuff is what is causing it (see the the thread in the thread I posted) - and dances with dragons used (sterile) tweezers to pull that out. It's supposed to be hard - but yours may be liquidy because you are still early on...im guessing.
Two things we have in common are 5 days of leakage & the silicone sleeve - but a lot of guys both...so this may not be the cause, just a thought. When it's constantly leaking for so long, I think it starts to get in the skin a bit & then the sleeve might block it - causing a nodule. Just a guess. They've said not to block the entry points or it will create a nodule, and the sleeve sort of blocks them. It's hard to say what the cause is I think. Also, did he change his entry points this time? I had 6, and basically 5 have nodules. I wonder if he can do fewer entry points and lower the risk of it. Also, I wonder why you had 5 days of leakage this time...but last time I think you said you were all set by day 2.
