Of course "completely without risk" was obviously not what i meant, but less risks, such as necrosis, Foreign Body Granuloma, that have to be removed and can leave a completely unaesthetic penis. You don't need approval for off label use. There would be no advantage to the companies making these product to go through the expense of having the same product passed for uses in different areas. Getting FDA approval isn't cheap and off label use is perfectly legal. Also they had to change the carrier to make Artefil sufficiently different to other PMMA products in order to obtain a patent. Thus there was no point testing it elsewhere as the carrier isn't suitable. And new plastic/metacrill (the PMMA brands used for most users here) is not FDA approved. No there are will never be any treatment that is without risk (totally new news), but that doesnt mean that we have/should to take the PMMA risk (NewPlastic/Metacrill is meant here, thank you) now. Which of course has not been said like this. When clearly all the Doctors are advising against any use of it. It seems to me like hair-splittnig is beeing done here to defend the injections. When only a forum user is not fully joining the cheerleading towards the procedure.
