TOPIC: My Elist implant experience to-date

@Mustang: I have been experiencing some prominent edges in the Flaccid state, which seem to have now become an issue in the Erect state. If Flaccid and unwrapped for more than a few hours, the edges become increasingly more pronounced (almost as if the implant is expanding somewhat just behind the glans). Nonetheless, I've been staying wrapped as much as possible and noticed that these edges were not present when in the Erect state. Recently, my wife has begun complaining about feeling the edges during intercourse. Is this something that I can hope the capsule will ultimately contain with continued steady wrapping?

Since the dr keeps changing his methods, it is hard to tell. But, for me, wrapping 24/7 for about a year helped keep the edges under control and when the capsule formed, it did help further with the edges. So I'd say keep it wrapped, but not tight, just enough to keep the wrapping on even if it slides towards the glans it is still OK.

Thanks Mustang! That majorly bolsters my confidence that this can potentially normalize. So glad for this forum, as faith in the doctor's ever-changing methodology is slim to none.

Boston can you share some pics of the result as well as the edges? I would like to know the results as well as the issue you are haveing.Thanks Boston,Kcchief

I'm happy to report that a change in type of wrap has resulted in better control of the edges. I had been using the self-adhesive wrap which was sticking to my skin, and was experimenting with other kinds of self-adhesive wraps (such as lighter ones for post-op, etc.). These ultimately failed to self-adhere (it would unwrap unless taped, thus defeating the purpose of self-adhesiveness), and were not doing their job in keeping the implant firmly in place. I ultimately went back to the tougher self-adhesive wrap, and despite the skin-sticking it's serving its primary purpose.

Last night was a delight to stick it to my wife without the edges! Among the finer things in life is hearing your wife moaning deeper and louder than I've ever heard her moan in bed, feeling her vagina clinging tightly to my penis, repeatedly telling my that I'm "grandote" (big Dick in Spanish) and that I'm the best. I'm getting hard just thinking about it!

I used to use the 1.5" wide cotton wrap one can buy from any pharmacy. Then I used a wide rubber band found on Broccoli bunches at food stores. I would find the right size band and slip it over the wrapping, it worked great and prevented the wrapping from slipping forward too much. I would only remove it when going to bathroom and for showers. Later on I would remove it at night sometimes but not more than two days in a row. Good luck.

Happy to hear that It's what a lot of us guys are hoping to achieve in our quest for a larger unit.
Really rooting for that implant to stay smooth on the edges and to also for it to stay put period! When the implant does work, there is no doubt the Girth is significant.
I'm not sure I'll ever achieve your stats, but it's reassuring to know that us 5"-6" guys don't really need all that much length if we can make up for it in the Girth department - which happens to be much more obtainable cosmetically/surgically than length is.

I had the Elist procedure around 2 weeks ago. The results so far...an enormous increase in Girth, and length when Flaccid. In the Erect state, I continue to enjoy the large increase in Girth, but the length has retracted around an Inch. I am told that this is normal, and that over the next several months the length will come back and exceed its original distance throughout the weight of the prosthesis itself, and or the use of a Penis Pump. So far my erections feel like the hardest erections i ever had prior to the surgery...a pleasurable sensation. It is accompanied by pain however, because of the recency of the surgery, and the fact that its so wide it stretches the skin...especially at the base. I will report back later any changes....particular after 9 months by which time I am supposed to gain all my original Erect length back and more.

Hi everybody, Sorry for my inactivity, but I'm here to update my scenario. Basically, I likely popped a stitch which caused my implant to become unwrapped towards the glans side. Ultimately, edges were protruding over the glans, and and it took on an uncircumcised look. Dr. Elist agreed to replace the implant for the cost of anesthesia, and due to the amount my skin had stretched felt it could be an XL. Given my investment thus far, I decided to give the implant one last shot (figuring if something goes wrong with this one, I'll have it removed, take a year to do some stretching and possibly go see Dr. C in TJ).I'm almost a week out from the implant replacement, and so far so good. Not only has the Girth increased noticeably, but the Flaccid length has as well. Because I still have my pelvic area bandaged, my measurements are not completely reliable so I can update those when I take the drain out. While the night-time erections are not fun, I've found this recovery to be much, much easier than the first time around. For one thing, the penile/testicular swelling is considerably less and my legs have full range of motion. For example, the last time around I recall finding it difficult to get dressed below the waist and walk up stairs. Not so this time around.As always, there are changes to the process. They're now recommending that I NOT wrap the penis as they are finding that stitching can be damaged by too much pressure applied from wrapping as well as the wrap interfering with skin recovery. They have applied more stitching and mesh to the implant in order to ensure that it stays in place, and feel that the stitching itself will accomplish holding the implant in place as much as the wrap can. I'm going to give that a try, and figure it edges present themselves I can wrap them.

I can currently feel some slight bumps present when Flaccid (on the left side lower-mid-shaft and on slightly on the upper shaft on the right side), but from past experience I'm resting some hopes that the capsule will soften these out. I'm supposed to resume with a gentle stretch a week after the drain comes out so as to break up scar tissue that can cause retraction. This entails holding the implant in place at my pelvic area while gently pulling the penis from mid-shaft to the top of the shaft (I intend giving this a whirl). A few weeks following that, they then recommend milking for length increase (which I don't intend doing).

@kcchiefThanks!The sex is definitely better with more Girth thanks to the implant. Prior to getting the implant, I think my penis was all-around average in both Girth and length. Ultimately, what convinced me to give it one more try was the fact that it was a relatively low financial cost, and that I stood to gain even more Girth (and possibly additional length) as a result.I just took the drainage tube out tonight, so I'm glad that's out of the way. I'll keep you all posted as to my progress! This time around, I'll make sure to post my post-op pics (I never got around to that last time around) and as accurate measurements as possible.
