She was saying the average should be more that 7” in her opinion because most of her partners were close to the length of redbull, white claw or Alani cans with a couple that were even longer when she asked them to do a side by side comparison This had me curious so I googled it and the length of those were between 6.1-6.25 inches long. So what she is calling really long isn’t honestly what most of us would consider a large penis. So maybe we’re all far more skewed in our views and we should focus more on Girth since the women I have personally talked to about it say that when think guys measure themselves they are surprised when they are “only 6” lol. I say all that to say this. I’m just saying that maybe what they are calling big is what we think it is. I saw a study showing the average in the adult industry is 7” which surprised me. I would have thought it was a lot larger, I’m sure that has led to a lot of misconceptions all around as well. I don't say this in any way to dismiss stories of unsatisfied patients, and in fact, there are very legitimate reasons to exercise caution when considering a permanent filler in your penis. However, the efficacy of dermal fillers (including medical-grade PMMA injected by experienced & qualified practitioners) is literally a breath of fresh air when compared to male Phalloplasty's history of otherwise truly *"horrific"* methods and procedures. In the past, it was commonplace to see complications that included (severe) length shortening, nerve damage & impotence, infections being commonplace, tissue Necrosis, and the necessity of de-gloving (versus it being a last resort). I think many newcomers are so far removed from Phalloplasty's dark days that current stories fail to take into consideration the **relative success of modern Phalloplasty.** Don't get me wrong, again I want to be clear there are on rare occasions of say, injectable Phalloplasty that have traversed into the realm of complications that were commonplace in yesteryears of long ago, but the frequency of said-severity pales in comparison to the stories from the 90's, 2000's and early 2010's. I say all of this to assert that if there were ever a time to acknowledge an acceptable efficacy standard for medical augmentation of the penis, we're living it now in the 2020's. Of course, experience, expertise, and ethics are critical when finding a practitioner, and setting realistic goals and following post-op instructions are no less important. Even with disciplined adherence, **no procedure is without risk, and you'd be doing this electively.** It's more of a matter of risk thresholds to be frank. This is why Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and to some extent (your own) Fat can be arguably *"more efficacious"* to the risk averse, with the likes of Ellanse and PMMA being something for those who are healthy, and well-informed of an elevated risk threshold. I'm 15 years removed from my first round of injections from an older generation of PMMA (albeit medical-grade nonetheless) with no complications, and have exhibited no health ailments or unusual findings through physicals in said-time. Furthermore, if I were to have exhibited any health concerns, there would be 100 more plausible explanations with the passage of 15 years than the presence of inert, non-carcinogenic microspheres well-encapsulated by my own collagen in relatively low volumes. I'm in touch with men from the early discussions of PMMA between 2011-2015 on the PhalloBoards, all of which have not reported any serious issues (save one, except his complications involved the addition of silicone, which has since been discontinued by his provider). Speaking of silicone, I would strongly recommend avoiding large volumes of silicone oil or rigid implants (often made of silicone), since these methods are surprisingly still marketed heavily (by certain parties) as being just as efficacious as HA, PMMA, Radiesse, Fat, Ellanse, and PRP-combinations -- which they are not. These methodologies are a lot more like the techniques that tainted this industry's history stretching back multiple decades... and continue to be the true **horror stories of today.** As for the original poster & comment -- I've been saying this for years (especially on Thundersplace) --> people are terrible when it comes to cylindrical spatial estimations, and you can convince most people a 6.5" dildo is 8" long, Girth & width being even more complicated to assess.
