The simple reason being that you will forget what you had. The new size becomes your new normal. I actually think that is where a lot of guys, maybe myself included, fall victim to our own heads. We have the new size, become accustomed to it, but still have the mindset of how it was prior. Hell, I have 7" midshaft Girth Erect and 6.5" Flaccid Girth. Sometimes I'll catch myself thinking "eh, it's not that big." but then other times I'll see myself in the mirror and think the opposite.
