Re-Wrap?
Fuck this shit.
It's not like your mother is standing there. You don't know these people. Who gives a fuck about that you had an operation there for some reason.

Anyone ever experienced difficulties making their way through airport security after PMMA?
Going through tomorrow with I wrapped and swollen. Won't be noticeable through trousers.

I got stopped on the way back from TJ. First thing they said was lift up your shirt and then they proceeded to pat down around my junk.

I should add that I had no wrapping or sleeve on

I went through both times with the wrapping on with no problem.

I haven't had PMMA for awhile and I still get stopped after a scan and they tend to search my abdominal area every time.
Now, instead of being concerned they will find me out, I just smirk and know it's because I have a big Dick.

They could simply assume you're sweaty too. I wore a backpack and had a sweaty back and saw the xray, my whole back was lit up. As someone mentioned before it depends on density

They are getting stoped because of the bandage not because of the PMMA inside your penis. I have TSA pre-check which costs $85 every 5 years so I only have to go through a metal detector

Sheaidavg - I have been stopped without bandages every time even a year after. You want me to record it next time and put on here? Why would a lie about something so stupid? Research how the machines work and what they are detecting. If you only go through the metal detector then you won't get stopped... idiot

They don't take you to a back room. They basically check you right there in front of everyone and test your hands for explosives. They check inside your waistband and glide the back of their hand on your inner legs and Cock... It is strange that not all of us get stopped. I think some of us get more fibrosis/collagen than others. I seem to have gotten a ton of it.

@neverendingjourney is right.
I get stopped every time and finally got the guts to ask a nice security guard, and he said the scanner checks for discrepancies in density. I travel fairly often and never had an issue, but a while back I had hernia surgery. Not only did I have that mesh put in, but since the muscles were cut, there is now obvious scar tissue which is a lot thicker.
Without fail EVERY time I go through the scanners a red blob appears on the screen exactly where my surgery was.
I'm no expert, but it would make sense, as PMMA is a foreign and dense body that it would show up on the scan just as my scar tissue/mesh implant does. Obviously they aren't the same, but I don't think a robotic scanner is smart enough to tell the difference. If it's checking for density, it would make sense that some of the PMMA (or collagen) triggers the scanner.
