You can safely get the 20+ cc round, but you have to be aware that a larger round increases the risk of nodules, etc. Are you cut or uncut? That will make a difference. But I cannot understand why some guy does gain in the first round, near to zero in the second, and then, in the third or fourth... Boom! A half an Inch. Anyone can undestand this phenomenon? However, I would explain my goals the the doc and let them move forward with what they feel is best with that in mind. I wouldn't walk in and say "I want 25cc.", for example. From what I am seeing nowadays, guys getting little to no gains after the first round, and then, boom, you get more gains in the third or so, makes me wonder if it is better in terms of saving money, to make your first round the biggest one, something like older members from here did years ago, who got near to an Inch gains from 22-27 cc's 30% PMMA, with acceptable aesthetics. Why do you guys think? Nemeckova style, or going to Dr. C and telling him what you want?
