Sure - yeah I thought it was pretty interesting. It also gives a little insight into the nodule issue. Some nodules will respond to kenalog (and simply waiting) because they are just inflammatory - and can last a couple months. Others are not going to go anywhere because they are have too much pmma clumped together. There's no way to know unless it's taken out - or if you try kenalog/5fu and wait a month and it does nothing...then you can infer it's not going to reduce. DMSO may have some effect as well on the inflammation. Red1975 had success with that. I'm not sure if it would loosen up the PMMA or not & disperse it...especially with all the other tissue there. But, who knows.

With regard to the white dots, I could be more precise. PMMA itself is clear, so you're just seeing light passing through where the PMMA is. But, yeah in general - it's similar to what you'd see with artecoll (maybe artefill too - it's hard to say exactly):

Yeah... for sure this is a problem. I was never ocd about my Dick before 2010 when peyronies started. Then, it grew slowly but never to the point I wanted 7" of Girth or something...it was mostly about getting back what I had. Unfortunately, this period has been dragging on since march 27....after already starting in 2010. At least it is very confined to one spot...but the uncertainty of how it will heal, if it will heal, if it will spread is making me very anxious. I can take my own vicodin...and that's a good idea - I might take it tomorrow. The problem is that cymbalta (which I am on) blunts the effects of everything, it seems. Soma is another seriously relaxing drug, but it stopped working when I started cymbalta. I asked for more benzos...they gave me more cymbalta...which continues to not do anything.

Holy shit...did he have the Necrosis like in those pictures where the whole penis is rotting off? Mine is about 1 cm x 0.5 cm....and the other spots are raised. So, it's annoying that I have (now) raised areas on the skin when before i had lumps under the skin. I guess they should go away... but I just feel like I never should've been in this position. Whatever I did in a past life to get peyronies at such a young age & then be one of the few people on this board with complications on top of it... i'd love to know...oh and then...getting it fixed in the usa (for $1200 so far) hasn't worked either! I keep saying to myself "you'll be normal by june" and "you'll be normal by july" and now it's "maybe august...or the fall..."

Not sure which pictures you mean, but his skin was dying. The photos are on here in his progress report, but I'm not sure it's ethical to point out which member it was, as it's then very easy to find out who he was. Though I doubt it will be a big deal to him as he's in prison for 20 years!

I've been going through what you are describing since 1997. I've literally lost count of the amount of procedures I've had to try and fix things. I've pretty much only got one option left and it scares the hell out of me as it's an invasive surgery with grafts. So many of my surgeries have ended is disappointment and often deformity, that it seems crazy to consider another, as I don't think my penis would hold up to more complications. But on the other hand I can't leave things as they are. I keep saying to myself "by this time next year this will all be behind you," but at the same time can't go through with booking the surgery as I've got a terrible feeling about it! Mentally it's a nightmare.

I can order clove oil on amazon. I guess the one thing I don't really understand is how I can have MRSA or an infection like that without any pain, redness, heat, discharge, etc... and why all the other excisions closed without any issue if that area (or the pmma) is colonized. And, it hasn't changed in 2 months (no worsening, I mean). Is that the clinical presentation of a biofilm infection?

I was expecting that wound care doctor to culture / biopsy it...now I've been set back two week since he decided to chemically burn it like a lunatic.

Sorry about your ordeal but don't let that prevent you from attending social functions. You can always politely turn down sex, or at the very least, exchange numbers in hopes of a future hook up when all is well. And social interaction shouldn't be solely for the pursuit of hookups... you could also make some new friends & network as you go. You can do all of this and address your situation in your downtime. The sex-is-everything attitude isn't a healthy one, try not dismissing your summer, fall & winter over it. With patience & informed decision making, I'm confident you'll have this seen through. Till then, find things to occupy your mind with, including social outings, etc.
