The skin has far more immune cells. Most PMMA products are tested by injecting into the dermis. I think Dr Serra reported just 1 case of granulomas after 6 years of injecting PMMA all over the body for lipoatrophy. Having said that, I always felt more comfortable with the idea of Linnea Safe. Psychologically the idea of having a newer product just felt better. But if Dr C isn't using it, then if I have PMMA, I'll go to Prague. It seems pointless flying all the way to Mexico from the UK to get Metacril, when I can pay just '100 for a return flight to Prague and be there and back in a day. At least, this is what I remember Kapitalizam telling me when he went to her for consultation/PMMA. Yes, she only does Metacrill. But the reason I would have gone to Mexico is because I just felt more comfortable with the idea of Linnea Safe, as it was the product Dr C used originally (well NP) and Prof Lemperle said some good things about it. But now it seems pointless going to all the way to Mexico to have a product I can get in Prague. Also I'm not planning on having much injected. If I wanted a lot in one session I think I'd still go to Dr C as he has more experience. But I think I'd only ask for about 12-15cc of 10%, so I'm very unlikely to gain enough size to have any big aesthetic problems.
