I do 3 x 5min sessions (sometimes I extend a session to 10min) with a normal pump / gauge and water (similar to how purple donkey described above) I simply fill the tube about 1" above my glans with water and by the time I get to the 3rd session the water in the pump is almost entering the valve but not quite. I never pass 5hg of pressure.
Works like a charm. And so far so good with it. No extra ridges or anything showing and if anything its even made things look even better... Evened things out and made it more uniform. Though I guess the true test would be to pump for a week and then have like a week off.
I suppose I'll hold my judgement on pumping... water pumping does seem to make a bit of a difference. I don't think I'd ever use a bathmate though... I enjoy my standard pump and gauge (brake bleeder pump / gauge, Colt 2.75" Cylinder with quick release valve).
I'll keep you guys posted on if this affects my PMMA
Interesting.. Questions?
1. do you hold the pump upside down when filling in the water?
2. how do you know exactly how much to put if you can't measure it.
3. do you do this standing to not risk the water falling out?
4. when you come out between breaks do you you refill?
5. Is lube still required?
6. whats the difference you achieve when its filled with water vs just air?
I didn't even know this was possible? I may try it, if I can get the effect without having to actually use the bathmate.

Just saying these aftercare things have all come and gone with varying results. The key is to try things until you find what works for you.

This PMMA thing, while has fairly stable results so far, is still going through learning curve. May be in 6-8 years we will have more solid data...Time will tell.
