There is so much information on this website the says "post-care" is crucial. The Dr is clear on post care, and it's no secret it is the most important part of the procedure. So why is it that men think it's ok to go backpacking, have sex within the first couple days, go on bike riding trips, sit in a plane for 15 hours. You then wonder why your penis looks like a pig in a blanket or an accordion. This is basically plastic surgery. You need time to heal, and need to take the proper steps to ensure a desirable outcome. If you don't, then I really don't want to hear about your messed up penis because you were careless. TWM, forget the hiking trip, or reschedule. Simple as that. Dr. C will be still be there after the trip, or your friends will understand you can't make it. Nurse Wade has made it very clear to me that post-op protocol, massage, and care of your penis (preferably the first 48-72 hours) is paramount to ensuring aesthetic success, so it would be in your best interest to cancel the Yosemite trip. And like Panks1 said, this procedure is for life, so give it that kind of consideration it deserves.
