It is a shame that your viewpoint of US medical care is so biased. The fact that you hold it in such high regard and consider only the good ole US of A as 'reliable' displays ignorance. Some of the best physicians and hospitals in the world are found outside the USA. There are some on this board over 3 years out with no negative side effects. Big Fred is roughly 7 years out without complication. There are some unfortunate incidents of course but that can be said of ANY medical procedure. A lot of cancers start from chronic inflammation, and can take even decades to appear, some peoples bodies will react to things other people bodies don't react too. People saying that the mexican doctor are safe e.t.c look at the PIP breast implants, these were approved and used in western countries, 10 years later we have problems. The truth is if a doctor says he is injecting you with PMMA.... in mexico...can you be 100% sure it's not medical grade silicon? PMMA not approved in US for penis injections and must be for certain reasons. People are saying that it has no side effects, google PMMA and you will see people having problems even 3 years after from injections into their face. Since it's not done in US, there isn't any reliable sources to say what happens to injections in the penis years after. Like I said, you either lucky or not... depends how your body will deal with it. That is not an insignificant factor. The US has many of the finest doctors, medical schools and researchers in the world. Mexico is not known for its medical advances... The lack of consensus by first world doctors that PMMA is safe means that there has not been enough research. I agree that the injection of olive oil was foolish.it likely was not sterile so he injected bacteria into his penis which would explain chronic inflammation. PMMA, properly handled, is sterile. I think Xander86 brings up legitimate concerns, but maybe it wasn't as wise to equate PMMA with concern when no such record of it exists prior. I encourage discussion on this matter if members can bring insight, sources, and evidence to the table...otherwise mere speculation ends up "raining on people's parades" as Mustang pointed out.
