TOPIC: Gap between pelvic bone and pmma base

Actually I have this. Though it is not noticeable in my pictures. Its only really on the underside for me. I asked Wade and Dr. C about it and filling under it and they said that is the limit point to where they can put the PMMA. They said there is something there (maybe a vein or like barrier or something??? I don't remember) and that if they try to fill under it the PMMA usually migrates into the scrotum. They recommended not to put any material there last time I was in.

Edit: Though they did fill in the upper part of the shaft where it connects to the base for me. They said the PMMA stays there fine, just not on the underside.

Sorry I have a bad habit of using Turtling and retraction interchangeably.

@ funnyfarm if I am flacid and I stretch it out it looks abit like that. Erect I cant strecth it so a non issue. Have you got this problem when Erect as well? Sizemic is right there is only so far they can go as the skin gets too loose in that area. Everything in the other photos looks great though!

Red is PMMA base. Blue is the base of penis normally in the fat pad/ligament area. There is less Girth in the blue area.

The difference is not large but I only had one round at 10%. I can only imagine multiple rounds would amplify this effect. I don't see how he can inject in this area without it completely redistributing to unwanted areas (ie clumping up) as soon as you stop stretching it and it hits the ligaments..

Can other guys with multiple rounds stretch and see if it also looks like this ? I am not saying it is a problem per say but a unique artifact you would not encounter without the implant material..

@Bighat, sorry I may have not explained this clearly enough. You only see this effect when I stretch hard with my hand. That is why you did not see it in the earlier photos (no stretching). In fact, I did not even notice this until about 3days ago. @medlook, No I have never done any PE stretching or pumping. @ smartman & SO: Yes I think you are correct the post surgery 'retraction' (I thought 'Turtling' was when the gland retracted not the base?) likely caused the bulging as smartman pointed out. And I did not think of this but yes, a traction device would be helpful, but I don't think I could sleep with it and it would likely need to be on for 2 days without interruption.. No I have not discussed this with the office.
@sizemic: thanks for the feedback, it is also more prominent for me on the underside and another guy also PM'd me with the same issue. I did not discuss it with the office yet but speculated there would be a limitation as to how much product he can place here, so thanks for confirming this. As long as it does not cause a functional issue during sex which I think is unlikely, I may just leave it. Like I said it is only noticeable when you yank on it.

Funnyfarm, did you MASSAGE during the first 48 hours + post op? Nobody turtles more than me but I don't have the issue you show. However, I popped Viagrq and massage (pushing up from base to some degree) like madman (no traction device) especially day 2. This is one of the big issues with PMMA, how will it settle ? I suspect that what you show can be addressed to greater or lesser degree in next round via infill.

I've never heard of a gap between the base and pelvic bone, this is definitely something different but sounds correctable.
I'm accustomed to hearing about the gap between the glans and the Circumcision line (or between the glans and the formation of the infamous ring). Dr. C is usually good about tree-trunking the heck out of the base so I'm having trouble picturing what it is that you are experiencing... mind sharing a photo so we could better tell?

Funny farm - can you tell us when this gap became apparent. I went back and looked at you original posts and pics - your results looked absolutely smooth and perfect at 7 days. When did this change?

@ funnyfarm I forgot to say that I had it a bit when Erect too but after 2-3 months it appeared less so. In the beginning it really felt like a hard rubber ring. not sure how far down the healing route you are but maybe give i some time.

I agree with Smartman's speculation that there may have been Turtling early in the settling process which may have created this anomaly. If this was in fact the case, you may be one of the types that really should consider some kind of traction device immediately post-op. Not sure what else could have caused it.
I'm sure Dr. C will know what to do, but if I were to guess, I'd think he would fill out the area before the bulge and create a true base then taper up toward the glans to restore a more realistic look.
Have you discussed this with their office?

The explanation for that it could be because your penis may be had turtled in the 1st 48 hrs post-injection and your pubic fat had pushed some PMMA from the blue arrow area to the red one and causing more collagen growth--> bulging???

I think this happens to alot of guys have tried manual penis stretching or vaccum pumping etc. The penis skin is stretched and eventually the pubic skin migrates foward and covers the base of the penis.

Not seeing that but I am only 2 weeks out. For me, I was surprised at how firm base was and how they really nailed it so low, so I will be surprised to see gap open up. This sounds like something that can be corrected round 2. So far I am shocked at how I can barely notice any inconsitencies of issues. There appears to be some uneven collagen growth at the moment under the Circumcision line upper shaft, which is the only place I can "see" the effects beyond the fact I have an overall thicker bad man unit replacing quite small older version. Its like I went from 3 cylinder car to 4 cylinder and hope to get to 6 cylinder post round 2 with the 20%.

M7. You describe my ridge to the "t". Same side and all. I think most women would not notice this imperfection as most penises are not perfect in symmetry to begin with.
