Weight does have something to do with Flaccid length with the PMMA procedure which surely contributes at least in part to lesser Turtling effect. You can feel the weight when you walk around in the buff and it doesn't get hoisted so high in a fresh breeze. Plus you can even hear a deeper sound when taking a wheeze. In general added weight gives it a different feel. So it isn't strictly limited to a visual effect. I also wonder if the added weight isn't part of the effect it has on a woman who senses greater volume but probably also its greater mass? It isn't nearly as embarrassing but walking around in the buff I do notice that it hasn't the same visual impact as a normal Flaccid. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen, but we've had reports of quite the opposite (length retraction) with the implant. Otherwise, like the briceb & M7 have said, you will most certainly see an improvement in "Flaccid appearance" which may for some improve Flaccid length. I was and am a hardcore turtler, so my penis still wants to bunch up badly, but the new collagen is preventing it from shrinking all the way it seems. You will read stuff like "Our patients gained an average of 2 inches". They will do a good job of implying this is Erect gain, or may simply allow the reader to believe it is Erect gains, when it is really Flaccid.
