TOPIC: Anyone familiar with Dr Morganstern in Atlanta

@miracle7 - I am trying to schedule a phone consultation with Morganstern as soon as schedule permits. Morganstern does seem to have a great background and credentials. I will post a full report after the consultation.

I am having this done in Morganstern's clinic on October 20th, date is booked and I've had the consult with the surgeon. Morganstern's clinic seems to be focused very much on a holistic Urology and male sexual health approach and this is one, but certainly not the only, area of their practice. They are very highly regarded in the US for treatment of Peyronie's and ED, and I really like how well they are rated by patients for all of that stuff. I live in Ireland and could have had this done in one of the London clinics for possibly less money but after doing research decided this is the way I wanted to go.

Can you please provide updates after the surgery. I am very interested in hearing about it as I am considering the procedure given what I've been able to find online.

@EQ If you find out any details, please let me know. I passed this information along to RN Wade also. A quick call to Dr. C's office might save you the cost of airfare! Perhaps he has uncovered more information about Morganstern and his current procedure involving PMMA and FFT. I DO like the fact that he (Morganstern) is a Urologist and therefore has a good understanding of penile anatomy. Most Urologist are against Phalloplasty. Also, I live in Georgia so he is really local. That's a strong selling point in my book. Let's stay in touch.

If Ellanse is not available for application in the U.S., how does Morganstern offer it? How can the patient be assured that this is genuine product if a licensed distributor isn't supplying it?

I asked Morganstern about this. He outright told me it is not FDA approved in the US, but that they have a channel to procure it. I saw the packaging, and have no concerns about it being fake. They have a reputable Urology practice, and are obviously knowledgeable about any liability that they are assuming for offering it to their patients. I know there are some loop holes with regards to physicians using non FDA approved devices, but I do not know all the details. But I do believe it is Ellanse that is being used.

I agree. I'd like to have more info but am unwilling to cough up $200.

I had the Ellanse 4 yr done at Morgansterns. my experience was just fine. nothing bad to say.

Glad you brought it up! There was a debate going on in a separate thread about the legality of using Non-FDA approved PMMA (e.g. Metacril, Linnea Safe, etc) in the U.S. It was mentioned that Dr. Morganstern might have been a practitioner who has or does use non-FDA approved PMMA. Could you ask him about this in your consultation and/or correspondences? It would be appreciated!

If only being a Moderator gave me that power! To bluntly answer your query... No. They will not release any more information to me about the procedure other than to say he is using both FFT and PMMA and his patients (like all Phalloplasty patients ) are very happy with the results.
I will place another call to his office and push for more info one last time. For good measure, I'll mention my status as a Moderator on the best damn PE board in the world! Wish me luck. I'd love to know if he actually is using PMMA... what brand, concentrations, number of cases, technique, etc! I could be a reporter for the PB's Tribune!

I just learned Dr. Morganstern has fine tuned his approach and technique in his enlargement surgery. His new clinic is stating a 99% success rate. He is part of the team who opened Rejuvall which now has sites in Atlanta and Oklahoma City, I believe. I know this is an older post. Just wanted to provide an update. If I do anything at the clinic I will post progress on the progress board. Stay tuned.

What makes me wonder about many of these doctors is the claim that they have done thousands of procedures ...but can't find any reviews anywhere. He was voted best Urologist in Atlanta a couple of years ago and his practice looks good in other areas

M7,I just spoke with them as well.very vague with only answer is it is a fat injection or if you want a synthetic material they will do that(PMMA?).They said its custom to the each patient.Sounds like crap to me but hope she will email me more info.KcChief

By chance does any know - to have the surgery do you have to be Circumcised?
