Here’s the simplified breakdown. **What a Typical Lig Cut Does** Most standard Ligamentolysis: - Cuts the **superficial suspensory ligaments** at the base of the penis. - Often *doesn’t touch the deep suspensory ligaments* (especially with “scarless” scrotal approaches). - Relies on scar formation and stretching to “hold” any change. That’s why a lot of guys report: - Little or **no permanent gain**, or - Even **loss of length** from scar tissue and retraction. **What We Do Differently at Rejuvall (MegaMAXL™, SuperMAXL™, PERMMAXL™)** Our lengthening is a **multi-step protocol**, not just a ligament release: 1. **Superficial + deep ligament release** Dr. Carney releases both the **fundiform/superficial** and the **deep suspensory ligaments** using a temperature-controlled technique with FDA-approved instruments. Goal: remove the tethers so the penis can actually be lengthened safely afterward. 2. **Penile RepoZitioning™ – bringing internal penis outward** Part of your shaft lives inside the body. Our first question would be, "where did you get the filler done?" and then we would need to know whether or not it's silicone. Those who have had silicone injections will not have a good outcome from lengthening surgery, so we would first have to address that. We would also have to look at what kind of filler and how much you've had, as that can also affect your surgical lengthening results. If anything is amiss, that would have to first be addressed before we could do any kind of enhancement. No, it's not for life, though if you wanted to continue traction therapy you could do so safely as long as you continue using the devices provided exactly as-is and as instructed. Most patients finish the stretching regimen at about 6 months, but that can vary from patient to patient. *"Why so long? So you're actually just getting the length from stretching, aren't you?"* No; while the traction therapy does help lengthen the corpora to a degree, the penis is actually an organ and that's just how long it takes the body to heal after operating on an organ. If you qualify and decide to undergo a surgical procedure with us, Dr. Carney and his assistant would explain everything in detail with you and whomever is accompanying you to care for you after surgery while you're here and answer any questions you may have to make sure you understand everything completely. We also have a dedicated post-surgical support line you can call at any time with any questions, and we have a dedicated post-surgical follow-up person who would be checking in with you regularly after surgery in case you have any questions you're too afraid to reach out to us with or need anything else related to aftercare. No, we do not enter through the scrotum. As the full article explains, only the superficial suspensory ligaments are accessible through the scrotum.
