I’ve had three rounds of PMMA permanent filler treatments at Avanti Derma, spaced over time. It’s been a while since the last session, and everything has settled well. Now I’m considering laser hair Removal, and the clinic I’m speaking with uses the Candela GentleMax Pro with the 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser. I know it penetrates pretty deep, and I’m a bit concerned about whether it could potentially interfere with or affect the PMMA filler areas. Has anyone here had Nd:YAG laser hair Removal after PMMA, especially in areas where filler was injected (e.g., jawline, cheeks, etc.)? Would really appreciate hearing any experiences, warnings, or reassurance before I go ahead with it.
