Visually, not to be simplistic, but it’s very natural looking. If you’re asking if the fill shifts or is lumpy - the answer is ‘no.’ The trick in avoiding fill displacement and curing is within the first 7 days post treatment. If doctor’s instructions are followed (shaping, warm baths), it works - at least it did for me. Obviously, I’m not any kind of expert on this topic. But from a layman’s perspective, I look at Bellafill as a quasi-permanent alternative to hyaluronic fill; where your body responds by encouraging collagen growth. I have a coloplast titan, and I'm considering HA, Ellanse, and PMMA. Did your implant surgeon have any concerns about PMMA? Mine says he doesnt like it because it can supposedly cause complications during implant revisions. That being said, he has successfully implanted guys with PMMA many times, so doesnt seem to be a that big of an issue. I like the permanency of PMMA. Looking to get .5-.75" in. Did Carney use a blunt tip canula or just inject with a needle? Did you stay down in Atlanta for a full week to recover and do follow up appointments? He used a numbing injection, not unlike when a doctor has to stitch up a wound. *Did you stay down in Atlanta for a full week to recover and do follow up appointments?* - No, not a full week. The first time, I stayed overnight and flew home. The next appts, I flew in and out on the same day. *Did your implant surgeon have any concerns about PMMA?* - I never had a discussion with my implant surgeon about it. As a guy with a coloplast implant, it makes going into this a lot easier. I highly considered PMMA with Carney. Going with Ellanse with AD but I must admit the ease of just driving down to Atlanta seems highly appealing. Maybe if Ellanse goes well I will just get PMMA in the future.
