I really want Dr A to prove to be a viable option as it would be so convenient for me. But there are a couple of things that you posted that have left me a little concerned and was hoping you might be able to ask Dr A a few questions to gain some clarity.

Does he just use whatever brand of PMMA he can get his hands on? Because personally I don't think it'd be happy with anything other than LS or Metacril.

Would he allow the patient to bring their own PMMA (I can probably get a small amount of LS myself), if they still pay him the full price?

Can he clarify that he prefers 25% and where does he get 25% PMMA from, I've never seen it before?

I'd be really grateful if you could ask his those questions, as he doesn't reply on Whatsapp. Though of course I understand if you don't want to or forget etc.

Found out that Artecoll has (or used to have?) a 25% concentration PMMA filler. It could be that or a less-known brand?

Because they are the only two brands that were used on the only study available for volume filling with PMMA. Also they've been reviewed under a scope by Prof Lemperle. Bead size and smoothness is supposedly key to preventing migration and limiting FBG's, so I'd want a product I know has been well tested. I know in Mexico there was a Dr who used a brand of PMMA called Precise and it apparently had a higher complication rate.

So far he has told me he uses Metacril but then he told me that he gets it sent to him without the labels (im guessing so it doesn't get stopped but I don't know) I will see him tomorrow and try to get to the bottom. I will try to push him for an answer but things might get lost in translation a little. He seems like a very experienced surgeon when it comes to fillers and he seems genuine and that he cares primarily about aesthetics. I am inclined to trust him as it is on his reputation if his product is dodgy. I think we have to give some surgeons credit that they can make informed decisions about these things. Maybe I'm being stupid but he seems like someone who I am inclined to trust. I have been getting better vibes from him than I did from Dr Horn at Androfill (who is a great practitioner and did a great job with my HA) as he definitely felt like someone who treats it more like a business.

Just got back to my hotel. The whole thing was very quick and painless. I had 10mls injected in total of the 25% stuff. He said its better to do things slow and steady. As expected he is a very nice man.

Things look ok so far, some slight uneveness and I will need to do some massaging to even things out a little but I'm still waiting for the product to settle and take its final shape before I can do this. I need to wait for the needle holes to close up too as there is a little seeping going on.

So i took a Cialis and did a little bit of massaging. Probably too soon i would say as the holes were still seeping and i was able to see some product seeping out of the entry holes. Hopefully not too much though. I will give it a rest now for a couple of hours and try again in a bit. At first there was a slight lump on the underside to the left near the top but ive just massaged it flat. At the moment the uneveness is only really noticeable when flacid. When im Erect everything looks uniform.

Its not a huge increase by the looks of it but I much prefer to take this slowly rather than ending up with huge uneven areas. I also don't think there is any swelling at all.

Did he say what the PMMA was or just that it was 25%?

He just said it was 25%. I didn't understand completely but I think he said its the same stuff they use at the place he gets it from so he trusts that it is good quality.
