 Hey guys,

I am preparing to go for my first PMMA treatment with Dr C.

Is it better to go in with a pumped penis, unpumped or slightly pumped?

Just wondering if I will get better results one way or the other.

I am not very big Flaccid. Like 4"L and 4.5"G at base.

Go unpumped - you don't want extra lymph/blood in the area, there will be plenty heading there after with swelling and whatnot. They need to see things as they are in their natural state, without manipulation.

You'll get better results by focusing on aftercare - that's where the magic is.

Be prepared mentally to need multiple rounds - first round usually isn't a home-run. It's a process, and you'll be happier if you view it as such. Two rounds are usually the minimum needed to get an overall positive result.

I'd encourage you to hang around at least 2 days post op, let the guys help you each day. Definitely a learning curve to managing the aftercare.

I'm sure you've read about the risks, the possible complications, and made an informed decision. Best of luck, please keep everyone updated on your progress!

Chicagohunk, good luck with your procedure, and definitely listen to manitou's advice regarding follow up. I wanted to add, however, that there is actually precedent (if it can be believed) of pumping prior to PMMA.

Apparently, the results were stellar. Personally, this doctor "Salas" is somewhat suspect in my opinion. However, there is some reason to believe that there are benefits to pumping prior to a PMMA procedure. Expanding the tissue provides for a temporary window that allows for more product to be distributed; just like stretching a canvas will allow it to hold more paint. Another example is balloons. Remember the balloons we had as kids? There was this type that was small and hard to blow, and another that was about the same size but softer. The little hard ones never really grew that big, while the softer ones (the more pliable ones) blew easier and faster. Sorta makes sense.

 dr salas???????? LOL....

One case does not prove the theory. The guy in the Video looks above average and most likely his results would be above average.....

The amount of PMMA injected, IMHO, should be based on the natural anatomy not pumped one. Pumping after PMMA seems to be the present suggested after care....

More data is needed to confirm these results anyway...

 @Manitou
"Be prepared mentally to need multiple rounds - first round usually isn't a home-run. It's a process, and you'll be happier if you view it as such. Two rounds are usually the minimum needed to get an overall positive result"
I can see where your coming from but I'd have to disagree slightly.
I think you should mentally prepare your self to say NO to another round, Your never going to achieve 100% perfection with PMMA, and having another round to correct minor irregularities isn't guaranteed to make it better and could equally make it worse.
I've seen this happen to loads of people on here.
I like how Hunkydory put it a couple of weeks ago, he'd had a couple of rounds and he said something like" I was so determined to have another round but one day I looked in the mirror and thought, fuck it this is good enough". That's the way to do it, you need to have the will power to say no otherwise you'll just make things worse in my opinion.
From what I've witnessed on here the success rate seems to decrease the more rounds you have not improve.

Sure @Reklaw, I can see where you're coming from. I'm not advocating non-stop repeat rounds. I just know Dr. C and Wade both tried to set the expectation of a process in my mind, and after the 2nd round my aesthetics improved considerably. As I've viewed the other follow alongs in the forum, it seems that (generally speaking), after first round there is some weirdness in aesthetics, which tend to normalize after a second round+time. Again, very generalized, many exceptions to that.

The discipline to say "good enough" is also important. I think this kind of thing can be somewhat addictive, and pursuing perfection is a fools errand, chasing the wind.

This procedure (in my humble opinion) is not for aesthetic perfectionists at all. It's a compromise, a trade off.

This procedure is for increased size, and with that size, comes possible (and likely) aesthetic irregularities. My best recommendation is to go in with a size goal, treat it like a process, slower is better, and don't get greedy. Stop once the goal is reached.
