TOPIC: Round 2 Complete updated Photo's

Hello to all! Very new to this site, so glad to have found it! Seems like a brotherhood! Anyway, I have a tentative appt 16 Jan with Dr. C still waiting for a bit more info...X~Mas and New Years and all I guess it's hectic! Haven't purchased my ticket yet but as soon as I hear from C or tha Nurse, it's going down! Sure would be cool to see one of you guys there. I've seen plenty of post from PMMA guys, awesome results. Does anyone have any of Dr C's before and after as I am waiting for log on instructions! If not cool. Any suggestions prior to going! These acronyms NBPEL with flowmasters..... Worse than the military! Once I figure that out I'll post my initial read/start point! Thanks to all Sorry if I posted in the incorrect area! But the moderators seem to have a handle on things here

There are a lot of progress pictures from guys who have received PMMA, as well as other procedures, on this forum. I do not have log in info for Dr. C's site, so I cannot provide those pics. But I think it is better to see those that patients have freely uploaded rather than those that a doctor has selected to show. Take a look around and spend some time reading the progress threads. Lots of good info here. Best of luck to you and keep us updated on what you decide.

There are many successful progress reports and it makes it very tempting but I hope you're aware that once PMMA is in you it's for life and if you need to have it removed it will be a real pain.It has been the case for one member here (short term complication), and long term effects are still unknown, the first pioneer on this board have it for only 5 or 6 years.

Don't want to play the scarecrow here, just to make sure you're ready for whatever can happen. The best is to do like briceb said, read much to be well prepared.
I haven't had PMMA myself and I think there are good reasons to weight the decision before rushing, there are also temporary options like Radiesse which is similar to PMMA but not permanent.

I've read til I'm blue in the face, I think PMMA is the way I plan to go, unfortunately it may have to be postponed for a few weeks! Didn't realize that you had to have a passport/pass card to get back into the us from TJ. Thought my retired military ID and DL would do the trick. Hate to take chances and have to stay in Mexico over some crap... I hear many stories of people having no issues but, I fit the profile ie terrorist or illegal lol... We'll see.

Yes I have an appt set for sure now so it will be a progress report soon. Kinda got caught up with the passport thing, but all seems well for 16 Jan 14 .... The people and wealth of information in this forum has helped me immensely in my decision making process. I will do my best to return the favor.

Just got off the phone with Wade! Talk about cool...You guys weren't joking, what a stand up guy. Absolutely to cool.Very easy to talk to, def made me more comfortable about the procedure.

Don't know if anyone knows alittle about "Allopurinol" ref. to PMMA, Can't remember which post, I've read so many, it was used in heavy doses to help mitigate lumps and whatnot due to PMMA. The reason I ask I'm on a daily dose due to tha GOUT. Sounds like it will be beneficial......possibly help out with the procedure. Anyone have anymore info?

I did ask Wade, he is looking it up. Just seeing if anyone already has some insight. If not and anyone is interested I'll let them know what Wade says

Well fellas time is drawing near! I'll be in TJ in six days, very excited. Taking the shuttle. Any last minute advice before I go. Again the 16th is my day maybe I'll meet one of you guys in person

All went well guys! Initially the flight started out rough! Delayed 45 minutes off the bat! So I missed my connecting flight, pretty easy I was placed on the next bird out! I called Mrs Lupita a member of there staff! ( Staff was awesome and totally professional.. Can't brag enough on them) Anyway she adjusted my shuttle time. I encourage anyone not familiar with TJ to take the shuttle, it was easy and I couldn't imagine trying to drive there! I stayed at the Grand Hotel next door to the facilities! Grand hotel not so grand was prolly about 2.75 star hotel but roomy and clean! Wifi worked well.There are enough places to eat there, first night I ate at the hotel restaurant, it was nice hit another place across the street maybe a little better than the hotel and subway again across the street, there was also a Carls Jr. Tha day of ..... I went to the building -connected-next door hotel and met the staff, Christian, Wade Mel and Dr C . First off Dr C is 60 but looks 40s Wade looks late 30s but is 51. Before the surgery Dr C and I spoke ref goals 10cc vs 30cc. I told him to max it cause I'm married my Dick doesn't travel as you single guys dicks do, plus my wife knows what I'm there for! Plus my Dick isn't pretty anyways not worried about aesthetics as much as results, just me....disclaimer all this is said with a round two already planned....We continued to talk 20 minutes or about sports, life all in all a very cool guy. Finally, to the chair butt naked with a backwards patient robe, Dick out. Gave me a cortisone shot, Dr C deadend the weenie! Wow it feel funny not to feel your Dick... Unreal! Nothing hurt. The painkiller stung abit, but easy to tolerate! Then Dr C Mel and Wade went to work...like a well lubed machine. The end result was 29cc (24-30cc and 5-10cc)! That night massaged it as instructed! Not easy to get a full Erection but maintained a semi for a while with Cialis! Used arnica cream and other cream given to me by Wade! Hade to buy antibiotics 15 bucks. Next day went to see Wade for F/U and more post op stuff! He moved some product around and made me swell worse! Still very little pain when he was pressing pushing and Rollin! were taken. Now I'm in the airport waiting for my connecting flight home! Can't seem to load pics from the iPhone! I will when I get home if anyone wants to see
