1995-had the length (VY) and Girth (FFT) from Dr Rosenstein in CA.
1996 through 1998-had 3 or 4 FFT fill-ups from Dr. Giunta
1998-one of the Giunta fill-ups resulted in severe tissue Necrosis at the top of shaft. This caused a HOLE in my Dick. Giunta had to staple me together, which has caused most of my future problems. I didn't realize it was Necrosis until 2010. I thought it was caused by my premature showering.
2000-scar Revision from Dr. Brandow
2008-FFT fill-ups (2) from Dr. Giunta
2008-FFT Removal, Belladerm insertion and scar Revision from Dr. Solomon
2011-tattoo over the scar (didn't help)
I've spent over 30k, and am still fucked up. On top of this, I was Hanging, stretching, Jelqing, and have developed som ED over the last few years. I am considering a final surgery: reversal of the VY plasty and Removal of remaining FFT. Any advice is appreciated. I can show pics later; but my goal is to simply return to a more normal appearance. I'm considering Dr. Alter. Thanks for any helpful insight.

Hope you ultimately get your issues resolved for good. I hope your continued journey can be both a lesson & resource for those who currently contemplate surgery. Good luck!

13 years 10 months ago #1275043737I actually had Necrosis as a result of FFT Removal. If I could go back I wouldn't have had the FFT removed and would have done PMMA to hide the FFT. At the time I was too scared of complications with PMMA, so opted to have the fat removed. I'm still scared of PMMA complications, but with the benefit of hindsight, in my particular case it would have been better to take the risk.
I'm sorry your tattoo didn't work out. I've had some tattooing that worked pretty well and have some more planned for in a few months time.
Instead of Y/V reversal I had a pubic hair transplant into the scar and laser hair Removal on the area the V/Y promoted up the shaft. I still have some visible scarring at the bottom of my shaft and I'm hoping a tattoo will hide it. I was confident it would, but your story makes me less so.
I remember you were unsure if you were happy with your Belloderm or not when you were at MNS, is that still the case?

13 years 10 months ago #1275043884It's hard to tell from them, but I'm not sure full V/Y reversal is possible, as you might not have enough skin after the Necrosis.
Do you have photos the show the stretched Flaccid length from the side and underneath? If you have some and could post them it would be useful as it will be easier to determine if something like scrotal reduction and Removal of "dog ears" would help. From your photos on Solomons site I think it probably would.
You could then have laser hair Removal and clear up all the hair at the bottom of the shaft (below the ruler on the pics Dr S took). This will expose the scar, more but usually this actually looks better than when it's contrasted with the hair. You could buy some water proof concealer and hide the scar or try tattooing again.

Re: 17 years post-op
13 years 10 months ago #1275051375In my case I'm unsure what caused the Necrosis. It could have been something as simple as the bandage being too tight. Luckily for me it was as the circ scar, so by removing a section of inner skin (that above the circ line) I was able to come out of it relatively unscathed. If it had happened lower down the shaft, I'd have been left with permanent scarring. Basically it happened in the perfect place. My surgeon was able to cut out the entire area and leave me with just a new circ line.
Looking at you photos I find it amazing Dr Giunta performed FFT on you. You are a terrible candidate for that kind of procedure, probably the worst I've ever seen.
The key to PE via injectable materials is compliant skin. Shaft skin is compliant as it's meant to stretch the accommodate erections. But half of your shaft is skin from the pubic area promoted forward as a result of the V/Y incision. This isn't shaft skin and does't have the natural elasticity of shaft skin. So there is a very obvious contrast where the shaft skin expands and accommodates the fat and the groin skin which doesn't.
Sadly I've never come across a single Dr who has worked this out.
I'd imagine that if you went to Gary Alter he'd look to contour the lump of fat on the right of the shaft. I don't think he'd try and remove it all for risk of things like Necrosis. It doesn't look as if you have enough skin for a full V/Y reversal, so he'd probably remove the scrotal dog ears to make the base of the penis more clearly defined. Though it's hard to tell from the photos to what extent the penis has dropped into the scrotum.
Assuming he is able to remove some scrotal skin and remove the fat lump, it should make your penis appear longer and significantly more cylindrical. This will again improve dramatically once you have the hair removed via laser.
I actually think you are great candidate for those procedures and the result will massively improve things. I know it looks a mess at the moment, but the surgery needed isn't that dramatic and should leave your penis looking totally normal.
The only concern I have is I'm not sure if the Belloderm will effect removing the fat. I don't think it will, but you never know.

Re: 17 years post-op
13 years 10 months ago #1275051577In the first pic I've drawn around the scrotal dog ears in black. By removing the skin inside the black outline it should define the base of the penis and make it look longer.
Inside the red line in the hair that I think should be removed via laser. This again will make the penis look longer, by making the base more defined. Combined with dog ear Removal this will have a dramatic effect.
Inside the blue line is the fat that needs to be trimmed right down. At the moment it looks as if the bottom of your penis is where that lump begins.
By removing the lump, in combination with the other procedures, you should be left with a normal cylindrical looking penis, that appears much longer.
I've tried to demonstrate how it should look in the second pic, by covering the lump and scrotal skin.

I may have to engage you as my personal consulant and advisor to discuss this with the docs. If I get to that appearance, it would be awesome. Bottom line is that I need to consult with a doc. Here is my dilemma...should I go back to Solomon? He is only 10 miles from my home. Dr. Alter would require a trip to Cali. I have 3 kids and no time. I fear Solomon a bit because he's so abrupt and has no empathy at all. Re the fat he missed, he just said 'I did the bet I could,' and that 'the fat just kept coming from everywhere,' and that 'at least you look better than before.' One more point: the appearance looks quite good when I hang well; but when I have shrinkage, it looks awful. Is there any answer to that? Like, how can I avoid shrinkage, so that I never have to look down at that mess. Lookingforanswer, thanks, compadre, I will PM you. Your support would be great--- I have nobody to talk to about this.
The penis looks better when you stretch as the fat is compressed and stretched. When relaxed the shaft skin bunches up, due to the V/Y incision and looks awful. I know exactly what you are talking about, as I had to deal with it myself for 14 years.
Don't go back to Solomon. He might only be 10 minutes away, but he's nowhere near as experienced with Alter. The procedures I think Alter will do (as shown on the photo) aren't very painful in terms of recovery. You'd probably be able to fly home the following day, though he might request you stay longer.
By removing the dog ears (which are hard to see in your photos but I assume you have them looking at how the penis hangs), the fat and hair, things will look so much better when it shrivels up. The skin wont bunch up as much and the more defined root of the penis will make it appear to hang longer anyway.
If I were you I'd send the photos I've drawn on to Alter and ask him what he thinks. He's a conservative guy so I doubt he'll claim that he can definitely get it looking as I've drawn in the second photo, but I think that is what he'll aim to do and it should be achievable.

13 years 10 months ago #1275064319I know it's looks pretty bad now, but your case doesn't appear to be that tough to fix. My only concern is that Alter might be worried about infection due the Belloderm.
