The GQ author witnessed it and reported about the surgery in the story. An incision is made below the abdomen to assist in attaching the implant as well as inserting the mesh support for the bottom of the implant. The top of the implant is attached just below the penis glans.
Jazzy Jay I posted pictures early on and I am going to post pictures on Thursday with a newspaper for you to see a date so that you know I am for real. You should've figured out by now that I am for real given the specifics I have given regarding my experience.
I sent a private message to Aero but have not heard back from him. Can't say that I blame him for not wanting to get involved with the bickering. Some of his old posts actually related to his feeling that he was being censured in here but later that issue was cleared up.
I'm sure that many guys out there are reading all of our posts as they are trying to figure out if it makes sense for them to do it. It's a personal decision. I would tell anyone thinking about it to understand that it is not exactly the same as your real penis. When the penis is in the Flaccid state you will be able to feel it. When the penis is hard your partner would not know that you have an implant. I guess it depends on how badly you want a bigger penis. There is no doubt that you will be bigger in the Flaccid state. I was a little more than 3 Flaccid and am now 4.25 and that will get bigger when the dissolvable stitches release...probably another Inch. My Girth is over 6.5 when hard and I love that feeling. I can barely get my hand around it at the base. I will keep all up to date with my progress so that a fair and balanced perspective is given. Bottom line is knowing what I know now from my experience thus far I would do it again.
Interesting.....will be waiting patiently for your pictures Thursday. You don't need a newspaper, just a piece of paper with thethe day, date & year & your "jjk" screen name.
I was 6.5 inches in Girth as well after I received the implant, after getting it out, I'm.now 5.75 inches in Girth, but I still wish I didn't get the implant even tho I gained 3/4 in Girth. The mental anguish of going thru a surgery & having it fail when you live across the country is unimaginable to those that haven't been thru it.

So you are taking a sociopathic doctor's "word" over a dozen personal (documented) horror stories (many with pictures) on this board? ....Plus my word that there are many more men who I have had contact with that that have had catastrophic implant issues and finally Removal. Or do you think I am lying?
Do me a favor and contact he following doctor...Do some DD and you will find his reputation is impeccable.
Dr. Alter (Beverly Hills)
Email:
Telephone: (310) 275-5566
Just shoot him an email and tell him you have the implant. Ask him what he thinks of the Elist implant and if he has ever had to remove any of them.
He may take a few days to get back to you but he will. And he will verify everything we are saying on this board.
Will you send the message or do you prefer not to know?
And by the very fact that you did not understand the Elist FDA semantics (issue) makes me question a lot about your basic understanding of the situation you got yourself in. I am not making a dig at you, I just believe you have no idea how much you are being played.

9 years 4 months ago #1295113199Your just a victim of the Phalloplasty industry.
The only industry on earth where 99% of the options available actually make things worse, and 9 times out of 10 the most heavily marketed and medically endorsed options are actually the worst.
I have a retarded looking penis thanks to a crazy Mongoloid called Dr Kim, check out the MegaFill thread.

9 years 4 months ago #1295137265Why would anyone in their right mind so passionately defend a doctor who has clearly deformed mens penises? You've only just had the procedure, and are still not even in a position to be a case study, yet you deem it normal behavior to go up against the whole board in defense of Elist?? Sir, or Ma'am, the others here might have given you some legitimacy. I haven't. Even if you've had the surgery, there's no one I know who would go out of the way like this, to this extent, for ANY doctor, without some kind of incentive.jjk wrote: Given thousands of surgeries Elist has performed the negative posts come from maybe 10 guys. I wish people who had positive results would post too but they probably don't want to be bothered since they got ....

My post was overly harsh. It's just that I have seen so many Elist implants ruin men's lives...Not only physically but psychologically ....
Our forum always welcomes new info and we pride ourselves on our transparency...But Dr. Elist really holds a special dark place on this board.
I wish you the best of luck with your implant. Truly.
But could you do me a favor and read the following thread (posted by The Dane)? He was (is) a member who had the implant and started posting while he still had it.
phalloboards.websitetoolbox.com/post/my-...hlight=dane&trail=30
I look forward to your updates and don't hesitate to private message me if you have any concerns or questions (about the implant...or anything)
Pat

*Members here are skeptical because they can't understand why anybody would undergo such a risky procedure with so much evidence pointing to the danger of the Implant.
*i don't think the issue is the 8 months it takes to get your length back (which is untrue)...The issue is that the implant will eventually have to be removed and it will lead to permanent damage to your penis.
You are saying that a member on here has had the implant for 9 years and messaged you? And he has never changed
his implant once?
I am truly surprised (but do believe you) because out of all the implant recipients (dozens) I have had contact with (dating back to 2009), I don't know one that still has it in.
And these are including recipients I met on the old Elist shill site (My NewSize)....We all encouraged each other to get it...
We were told there was only a 2% chance of it ever having to be removed (due to complications). The doctor did tell us that some men had to have it removed because it was just too big and the partners couldn't take the size. Of course the doctor let us know if it were removed, there would be no complications . I guess he didn't know about the scar tissue and retraction issues at that time.
You also say he used weights (with the implant) to regain his length? I do know that until very recently, any form of stretcher or weights were discouraged by Elist because it might dislodge the implant.
Anybody who has been on PhalloBoards and other (unbiased websites such as Thunders.org) for as long as I have think of Dr. Elist as a liar, manipulator, and sociopath.. It's that simple. Why? Please type in Elist into the search engine and truly read read each thread. It will take you hours but you will be much more informed ..You will see the pain and suffering this man has caused....
And you certainly won't need to ask why people are being so skeptical or unwelcoming of you (at first)..
Again, good luck with the Implant...

Have you even done the search for the Elist implant on this board (all the threads)? Have you even bothered reading that link I just posted (from thunders.org)?
And just for other members reading this...Most men are not choosing to have their implant removed because "they are expecting an immediate result". If you read the threads on this board and at thunders.org, you would see their are many complications that go along with inserting a piece of plastic into a dynamic organ...I personally had my implant removed due to "infection".
I get it...You are in the denial phase right now..Not much you can do now. But look at it from our end...We don't want any new member to make a misinformed choice if they happened to stumble across your thread. Your "good so far" status is apparently all well and good for you but you haven't spent countless hours corresponding with Elist victims. These men have suffered so greatly. Again, as I have said many times...if I can prevent even one man from experiencing the same horror I did...It will all be worth it.
Just one question...And can you please answer this. Have you asked the doctor what happens when the implant is removed? What does he say? Does he say that it will go back to the way it was before the operation? Do you think that removing it will be complication- free?
How about emailing Dr. Altar (Beverly Hills) and getting his opinion? He is one of the most respected urologists/plastic surgeons in the United States and has removed many (perhaps dozens) of Dr. Elist's implants. Why don't you ask him his thoughts on the implant and how complication-free removing the implant is?
And just for clarity...The initial loss of length from the surgery is absolutely the least of your worries right now.
Best of luck to you and your implant; and I mean this...I was in the exact same boat as you 7 years ago.

Messageman: You said if you can prevent even one man from going through what you did - Mission Accomplished bro!
chester: I am beginning to agree with you man, about the legitimacy. Why else start posting in a thread called "Considering the implant"? Start your own thread in the progress report section, amirite?
